What did George Carlin call it... nuclear suppositories? Preparation H-Bomb?

I miss Carlin.

Lithium metal is more reactive to water than metallic sodium. I remember some of us getting the sodium from the high school chemistry lab and throwing it into the lake from the back of a speedboat. It was like being chased by a mortar down the lake as the explosive reactions kept hurling it back out of the water.

Lithium salts are used in the treatment of bipolar and major depressive disorders. A side effect of lithium is shaky hands.

A VA psychiatrist stopped treating me, and I was sent to a local provider (ARNP) who prescribed lithium in addition to my other psych meds I was taking, one of which (divalproex sodium) caused essential tremor in my forearms and hands. With the addition of the lithium, my tremors increased to where my hands basically became useless. I couldn’t sign my name, use utensils to eat, drink anything out of a cup or short glass, shave, brush my teeth, or, more importantly, use the computer. My fingers simply refused to go to the key I was thinking of. Dropped that provider. Incompetence only goes so far.

On the news the other day, more and more landlords are telling their tenants that in no way are they allowed to store and e-bike, e-scooter and other e means of transportation in their units, buildings or homes. Turns out the insurance companies are finding out more ways to up the rates for landlords :( . All of which have higher rates of catching fire then phones, laptops, etc.
