I just found chapter 5 of OS on my computer, and realized that I never sent it back to Jim so he could check it (for the second time.) This means I haven

...I’d move on to finishing With Trust, and then I’m done.

Um...what exactly do you mean by done?

I'm also concerned. I don't like the sound of that.

I generally have a rule that I won't start a new story until it has at least 10 chapters already, And I really did good this time. I just read OS today. I really was gonna wait, But then I was bored and thought to myself, "Hey, He is Dom freaking Luka, You know you will be hooked as soon as you read the first 2 paragraphs", And so I started reading and 4 chapters later, I just want more.

So I surely hope Dom doesnt mean he's DONE as in retiring after WT is done. That would really bum me out.

"Done with current projects" works for me . . .

I hope the readers here do realize how much more prolific our online writers tend to be in terms of sheer wordage than all but the most driven print authors. It doesn't stop me from being anxious to see the next installment of something, but I know how much effort goes into every thousand words and I appreciate how fast these things come out (and I have been wondering if I could matrch the output if I were writing the same way).

Putting myself in the author's place, I might ask myself, "What great contributions to GayAuthors gives these folks justification to whine?" Whine, cajole, encourage, support--it's in the eye of the beholder. I know we all intend to encourage and support, but... As someone who contributes little, I'll say, congratulations in advance, Dom, on being done! It's not fun being behind the 8-ball all the time. On the other hand, as Atari founder Nolan Bushnell said, "The way to have an interesting life is to stay on the steep part of the learning curve." I know you learn a lot from every story you write. When you get bored, we'll be here :D
