I think it would be inappropriate to end the story unless Jude or Quinn f**ks the other. In a weird, yet punful way, that truly is closure. :P

I disaggree, it isn't about the sex. The intention of the story was Quinn comming to terms with who he was and that actually happened in chapter 24.

So although Dom burried his intentions to write a sequel, chapter 25 can be seen as the sequel of TOU.

After all it is an extra chapter and I guess everything will be resolved as stated in Dom's blogentry.

Dom,

That chapter was awesome. It makes being grounded worth it. (kinda had a round 2 of pumkin fire). Did you know that patio umbrellas really do go up in flames quickly? Anyway yea I can't wait 4 the last chapter. You never fail 2 dissappoint me!!

What is it with you and setting fire to things???

Couldn't agree more, truly amazing chapter that last one. I'm kinda glad there's another though, I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to these guys though.

And it's definitely NOT about the sex - maybe they can make love, but a quick shag? I don't think so.

Anyway, that's just my tuppence worth.

Thanks again Dom.

Ahh whats with me and fire,

This mishap involved to amulances and a fire truck!! We decided to put the pumkin on the table. ( The table that was new and custom made!!) Why were we doing this? My friend wanted to put it into his fire safety movie. Ok So we were squirting lighter fluid on it, and I guess some got on the umbrella. Well We had like 10 huge pumkins this time and we put ligheter fluid inside. Well apparently my friend got some fire works (illegal in Illinois) and stuffed a pumkin full of them. (I actually didnt know he did that till we threw the match in and everything blew up.) Apparently my dad keeps gasoline in the lighter fluid bottles cuz the other ones blew up and our deck and garage were on fire. Well I got my dad's cars out the garage, but two need a new paint job. Oh and I was the only one who got burned. Not that bad, but one of my eyebrows isnt fully there. Does anybody know any good community service ideas because i have 1500 hours to do. Apparently I recklessly endangered myself, my friends and my dogs. I guess I wont be a pyrotechnic after all. I cant set fire to anything for a year. NO MATCHES OR FLAMES. haha. I'm grounded till Christmas. Oh and all my present money is being spent on a new patio set, a $10,000 fine, a counter, adeck, a garage and paint. No more friends over either. They took my car to lol.

Moral of the story: Dont play with fire when your making a fire safety movie.

More like dont put lighter fluid in ten huge pumpkins on your parents' brand new custom made patio table, and light 'em. What, the friend didn't get anything FOR STUFFING ONE WITH FIREWORKS?? And dear 'ol Dad didn't get anything for keep GASOLINE with LIGHTER FLUID. Wow, the injustices these days...

Anyway, great chapter Dom, although I could easily say the story ended very well right where it had, but to each his own... I'm not going to complain about another chapter :2thumbs: even as much as I want to see DD picked up again (speaking of that, can you incorporate Aaron more into the story? Just to irritate Vic? :D lmao)

OMG! And here I thought.... never mind. I'm operating on the assumption that you are NOT joking mutt...

Maybe I'm just OLD but I was taught at an early age not to play with matches/lighters... I'm happy that you only sustained minor injuries, it could have been alot worse.

This picture is of Fidel Quezada Borda who was burned in February 2003 in a propane explosion. These are just pictures of his facial injuries. He also suffered injuries to other parts of his body. Moral of the story... don't play with fire or explosives. You could get seriously hurt.

Having spent a lot of years now working with burn patients it's hard for me to not be appalled by this story. Do you have any idea how lucky you are to have gotten away with only losing part of your eyebrow? Bad enough that you did something so unbelievably idiotic, but then you moved the cars? Do you know how dangerous that was? Anyway, I'm not your mom (though I'd like to send her a sympathy card :P ) so end of lecture.

As for community service, why not a little hair of the dog. Go down to your local fire department and volunteer your services for any chores they need doing. It might be quite enlightening to look at fire from their point of view. Even if they say no they still might be able to recommend organizations that could use your help.

Worth a shot.

I need to say thanks. I kinda tune my mom out when she bitches at me, and my dad's never home. (Not trying to give a sob story.) You all made me see that I was lucky, but I think it was the picture that did it. So umm thanks for the idea. I asked my uncle and after I learn how to clean, I will be cleaning a fire house everyday for five hours. I will also be spending time w/ burn victims. ( The judge informed me of that an hour ago.) I also have to give fire safety tips. Yea so thanks for making me see how dumb and lucky I was.

Dom,

I must say, I may just be in one of those really sentimental moods, but when I finished this chapter, I was really feeling the heart strings tug.

I just kept having flashbacks throughout the story. I really think that's what is best about your stories -- they're a good length, and there's so much going on throughout the story, and your characters are so dynamic. I really remembered Quinn when he went to that first party at Trina's, and how he had to deal with losing his friends at first, and how he locked himself in his room, and having to deal with Bree and Brad and Taylor and Trina. Uh! sooooo emotional. It's really a happy ending, no matter how it rolls, but of course, I am dying to see how Mrs. Moore handles her only son being gay, if that ever happens. I feel like this is a true story for so many teens, and boy oh boy did this hit close to home.

It's so strange how you were able to make a single story make such an accurate representation of what's going through most gay teenagers minds. Thanks for that, and my all means, keep it up.

I may be in the minority, but I think Chapter 24 is the perfect ending to TOU. The story is really about Quinn coming to accept who he is. Beyond that, nothing more needs to be said, and the last two paragraphs say it perfectly.

Dom, you have amazing instincts about what a story does and does not need as well as an incredible sense of "character truth." TRUST THOSE INSTINCTS!

Of course, if you insist on writing another chapter...

I did entertain the idea of writing a sequel revolving around Jude and Quinn’s relationship when I had the time, but to be honest, it wasn’t, and still isn’t, something I’m interested in.

Hey Dom

I agree with the Jude/Quinn thing, but think about Taylor. He would make a awesome story. He colorful and outspoken and I think he deserves to have a freakboy (or one in the making, maybe one of those preps :) ) of his own. I know that this isn't your usual types of stories but it could be fun. 0:)

Just think about it. After DD of course. :)

Dom...

oooh la la...a story about Taylor..I vote big time for that and I am right there with you Coming:)

and you know if you don't do a chapter 25..well, to me, chapter 24 ended perfectly.....but hey, who am I to complain about a chapter 25..hee hee...since TOU is my favorite Domaholic story....it has been from the first day I read your stories..now, of course, I LOVE the others, but to me TOU is very very real for many of us, myself included:)

Bravo and Kudos and thanks for the most amazing wonderful story:)
