AFriendlyFace 191 Posted May 19, 2008 Have you looked into medication and therapy? hope you feel better soon. Take care, Tim -Kevin
Tiger 1,729 Posted May 19, 2008 Kev, I probably should do that. I am very moody. I can be happy-go-lucky one minute, and then the walls cave a minute later. It's awful.
steph 1 Posted May 21, 2008 Tim, my friend got me to go to for meds/therapy for the first time by asking me one question, "What if it didn't have to be like that?" So next time you feel depressed, think about that question and go get some help! Remember that for most people, meds are just a way to break out of the cycle until you can get back on track. Maybe your school's med center has someone you could see?
Tiger 1,729 Posted May 21, 2008 Steph, I am moving to Kansas Saturday. I should be able to find mental health services there. When I find out what's wrong, I will let everyone know what's going on with me. I have my suspicions of what it is, but I don't know for sure yet. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
GaryK 1 Posted May 21, 2008 You already know how I feel about the mental health issue, Tim. For those of you who don't know, Tim needs to seek out professional help. There's nothing any of us here can do for him. Even attempts at consolation are ultimately useless. They make us feel better but they don't help Tim feel any better about himself. That's all I really can say without divulging any confidences. I'll be calling you this afternoon my friend. Your anthology entry is well-done. I'm glad you didn't give up on the anthology completely.
Tiger 1,729 Posted May 21, 2008 I will be seeking help soon, Gary. I have definitely been having some problems lately. Anyway, I have adjusted the other short story to fit the special theme. I hope everyone will like it.
