What to write? That is the question

OK guys (he says, using the asexual version of the word "guys"), I'm having a dilemma. I'm writing two stories now, "A Summer Love," and "The Gunroom." My original intent was to write them in tandem, to try to publish alternating chapters of each. That's not working for me, primarily because I need to write where my muse takes me.

I've been enjoying "The Gunroom" lately, and have done more work on it than ASL. I decided that I'm going to go with it, which means I'll probably publish more chapters of that one, at least initially, than ASL.

I tried to force myself into it, to adhere to my plan, but it wasn't working. The chapters felt flat. I wasn't happy with them.

So I'm giving into my drives and urges, something very typical for me actually. :P

It happens; I will be awaiting more of your stories as they come.

Long stories take longer to write and you build a connection writing them. My best advice is just go with your heart, not plans.

Yeah, I agree. Go with your muse. That's always the best thing. :)

Your muse agrees with you, Mark. I'm okay with leaving Marcel and JP alone for awhile.

Yup don't fight your muse go where ever they take you. One of my characters likes fighting me alot he's still swimming in the ocean in one scene. Then when he's not fighting with me he likes making his relationships with people really complex. Thank god not all my characters fight with me.

Your muse knows what they are doing even when you don't :)
