The Gay Scifi Encyclopedia

Not able to find such a site myself I spent a day setting up a wiki site dedicated to the gay scifi and fantasy genre. All I need now are people to write articles for the site. I would like to beleive that if we get enough people invovled it can become a powerful research source for other writers to become inspired to write their own stories which is why I'm posting here. So far I've posted a few articles on my own gay scifi series, The Centurion, but I need writers and reader of other stories, both online and mainstream to add their own content if they're interested. The system is pretty open as any wiki site is and its web address is listed below as well as the yahoo group address for the Centurion story. Thanks for the support. I do really hope the site can become something great. I just know it's not something I can do just on my own. I've already asked the members of my yahoo group to help out and have gotten some great responses. The more the better however so even if it is just one article you post it would be a great addition to the site. Thanks again and have a happy holiday.

It's what actually lead me to reading gay fiction online. I had just finished reading a book with a gay protagonist - Sovereign by RM Meluch, and I loved it and went looking for more.

 

Then I found Nifty, and the rest is history. ;P (Just four or five months ago actually LMAO)

Nifty is where I usually post. Been working on the Centurion series for the past three years and started releasing it last year. Given the number of characters, terms, and locations listed in what will be a nine book series the members of the yahoo group were asking for so sort of encyclopedia to help them keep track of everything. Since I didn't want to go to all that effort just for my one series I decided to keep it open to any online or mainstream scifi/fantasy genre story anyone wanted to post about so long as it had a gay theme to it. At least that is my hope.

As it turned out atwiki was a pretty unstable site with long down times so we've shifted the whole site to another server which seems to have worked out for the best as it lets us use the full extent of the media wiki code. So far only one story is listed but it includes dozens of articles not to mention a basic dictionary of scifi and fantasy genre terms so I hope that proves useful for anyone looking for ideas for their own story. So if you have some free time on your hands feel free to look the site up. Thanks a bunch.
