As I began to write this my initial reaction was to run up the colors and defend Dom's writing and totally castigate Dan's. Like Vic, I appreciate both. I have a hard time reading this supernatural vampire crap, but that's just me.

 

The reactions you receive from Domaholics stem primarily from the fact that you marched into our territory and maligned our sacred author. I suspect that if I walked into Danopolis and did the same thing you'd blast me off the board. It's a bit like an American going to Paris. They're generally nice and welcoming, but if you criticize the city or it's inhabitants, they consider resurrecting a guillotine.

 

Well, since I am apparently merely a guest here, and apparently not welcome to make any comment myself, I'll just leave it to the Domlukavillans, and Dombos, and the genuine DomLukaLovers, to discuss, if they wish to, the comment about *quote* this supernatural vampire crap *unquote*

Okay, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to put on my "MODERATOR" hat here. With the moderator hat on, what I'm saying is 'business' and not joking around.

 

Things seem to be getting a little heated here and the tone has me worried, as does the fact that people have sent me private messages expressing concern or upset feelings because of some of the content of these posts, posts in the Lo(n)g Way thread, and in the Soapbox. This thread will now be locked and I will ask people to calm down a little.

 

If people don't want to calm down and remember to treat each other with a little more respect and kindness, we will proceed to warnings being issued, and moderator approval required for all posts.

 

This is a friendly warning, and I'm not going to point any fingers. It takes at least two to tango (and more occasionally join in on the dance). Take a deep breath, smile, and remember we're here to have fun.

 

I know what it's like to get upset and want to hit back with more posts. All I'm asking is to just calm down and restore the civility.
