JamesSavik Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 . I have this fond fascination with words. The way they .. You know do that thing they do. Welcome Chase. It sounds like you are in the right place.
Phantom Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 It is really hot here. Staring at my ceiling, a thought hits me, I snag my lovely laptop and google "gay authors". It was truly a random thought, I had no preconceived notion as to the existence of this obliviously successful site. Anyways
AFriendlyFace Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Hey Chase! Welcome to the site Staring at my ceiling, a thought hits me, I snag my lovely laptop and google
thatboyChase Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 Awesome. Thanks very much. I have one question however - is it possible to change my pen-name? The first thing I did was sign up for the eFiction. I was unsure if that was the place to start, so I signed up there.
Site Administrator Graeme Posted April 21, 2009 Site Administrator Posted April 21, 2009 Awesome. Thanks very much. I have one question however - is it possible to change my pen-name? The first thing I did was sign up for the eFiction. I was unsure if that was the place to start, so I signed up there. G'day, Chase! You can change the name displayed in the forums yourself, but the pen-name in eFiction requires one of the Administrators/Tech Leads to change it. I would suggest sending a PM to JSmith to: 1) Ask to be added to the Author group 2) Ask for your eFiction pen-name to be changed from XXXX to YYYY Now, to change the name in the forums, in the top right hand corner, there's a link called "My Controls". Click on this, and about two thirds of the way down, there's a link called "Change Display Name". I think you'll be able to work it out from there Cheers! Graeme PS: We also have quarterly anthologies where we request stories. The next one has a theme of Carpe Deim (Seize the Day). If that sounds interesting, click on the link to have a read of the submission guidelines. The due date is 1st June, so there's still a fair amount of time And here's the link for the past anthologies.

After all Joe will just tell me to do it anyway Steve
thatboyChase Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 I'd like it to be changed to thatboyChase, rather than the one I have. Just to avoid confusion and stuffs. Thanks Graeme - I'll take a look!
DomLuka Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 It is really hot here. Staring at my ceiling, a thought hits me, I snag my lovely laptop and google “gay authors”. It was truly a random thought, I had no preconceived notion as to the existence of this obliviously successful site. Anyways… I have no idea what to do? Should I introduce myself? My name is Chase. I go out to much and study far less. I text while I drive and I think I own the world. I have this fond fascination with words. The way they .. You know do that thing they do. I guess I could read around but I really want to sleep. Where may I post my work? Can somebody look my babbling over and tell me there is something worth salvaging? Any and all help will be appreciated. I hope I put this in the right place. “Administration” always sounds important. I have no idea why I said it was so hot here. It is. I promise. Always, Chase You're fun. I like you. Welcome.
LongGone Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 You're fun. I like you. Welcome. Yeah. Fun people are cool.
hh5 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I look forward to your new fresh angle on stories. I do enjoy a good story - its way better than TV. Of course - I wish my mind would illustrate the looks of the characters. Welcome aboard.
