Color vs Colour is a specific difference between two languages. UK, Canadian, and Australia English all use -our while US English uses -or. There's no right or wrong there. They aren't the same language. People can understand one another but many words don't sound the same and many don't have the same meaning. (Go and ask your boss's secretary in the USA for a rubber and see what sort of reaction it gets you...) Boy v Boi is an affectation and "Boi" is some made up term that people use because they think it's cute and/or pretentious. It's neither.

I don't think I write literature. But I certainly don't write porn and that's what a lot of readers want. I have character development, plot, researched details. I tell a story wherein the characters sexual orientation is not the primary reason the story exists. I have straight, gay, and even bisexual characters but that is rarely mentioned. Believe me, I can write porn. I just don't choose to post it for public consumption. By "Quality Reader" I mean those that don't write me and whine about the sex scenes and how they want to hear about dick size and read about hot steamy cum scenes. I don't care if it sounds pretentious -- hell, maybe you're right -- but if you're reading to get off, my stories are not the destination you should select. And based on some of my past experiences, that's what a lot of people want. And as it's been pointed out I am hosted on three sites (AwesomeDude,CodeysWorld, and Dabeagle) so my work speaks for itself.

I disagree. I don't want a guy who acts like a girl -- that's what girls are for. I have no problem with anyone being who they want to be. But if I'm going to pick a guy to get involved with, I don't want a guy who swishes as he walks and does the Hollywood Gay Stereotype act. If I want a girl, I'll date a girl (and I have!) Straight acting is a very simple pair of words that explains what a guy wants. If that's what someone wants, good for them. If not, that's okay too. There's nothing offensive about it. I think you're getting bent over nothing. My two cents

A quick comment: First, a rusty butter knife to cut off Cjames' private parts for that spoiler. I'm just saying. As for sex scenes, I rarely write them. They're generally hinted at and take place 'off camera' -- though there have been some very mild sex scenes in a few of my works. However, there comes a time when one is essential to the story. I've written my first full-on hard-core on-camera sex scene for my new story. (Well I'm in the process of writing said scene.) It's absolutely essential to the story and is not gratuitous in any way. And it's proving very difficult for me to do. I just don't like on-camera sex scenes in my stories. The real solution in most cases is to write them off-camera as much as possible. You're a writer, but if you don't get this, I can explain how. The downside is you'll lose half your readers because too may readers want porn and not literature. I prefer the quality of readers I have over a large quantity of them. I prefer to produce a work that is well-received as opposed to well-read.

He has died. I had met him previously and he was a decent and gracious (and slightly odd) person. Say what you want about the man he was, but he was a singular talent.

I believe in ghosts and have seen one with my own eyes (same one twice) and has an terrifying interaction with it. With witnesses who until that moment didn't believe in ghosts. UFOs? I take them on faith. Can't say I've seen one. God? God doesn't exist. My life is proof of that.

I do everything I can to not have the big speech. Not to say I haven't done it but sometimes you don't need to have it. That being said my new story does just that. "A" comes right out and tells "B" and then gets a reply he's not expecting.

It's a sign you've probably written something good.
