Clydee Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Christopher, are you still out there???? If you are, I, for one, would dearly like to know if you are writing, rewriting or chucking this book? Please respond and let us know at least how you are doing. I know you are busy, but a quick word would be appreciated by all. I've just finished The Balance of Judgment and starting on The Fifth Column (again). I get so much more out of your books after I read them again. Please, please...let us know!
Former Member Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I emailed Topher last week about the Black Prince and he had this to say, Hope it Helps. . . . Book Six is taking a long time to write as it needs to be done just right and I am being a perfectionist on it. It will come soon, but I just need to get it just so... otherwise it will be all wrong. So bear with me. thanks for your support Topher Lydon "As long as I have a flag flying, this pile of rocks is still a castle!" - an Englishman

Zecarias Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Hei Christopher, First of all I've read your books a few years ago, back when they first came out. I was 18 years old back then, and I have to say that I loved them all. I never wrote you a line saying how much I liked them because I never thought that you would need another reader praising your work, but after writting a couple of stories I understood how important it is to have feedback. So, 6 years foward here I am saying that your two sagas are great and that I have a fan over here rooting for you. The Carter saga was very important for me, since it was one of the first stories I found online that had a more realistic feel to it, I loved that both characters were flawed, that life wasn't peachy perfect and that at the end of the day they were simply two guys trying to survive. I only read the last one "Carter's Recourse" some years later since Medical School (and all the other *cough*important *cough* college stuff) took much of my time from reading, but I thought that it was very well done and with a very cleverly done ending. About Falcon Banner,I must say that it took me some time to get into it, since Science Fiction was not my favourite topic, but you managed to make me read it and like it. It is very well writen, and I can't even imagine the work behind all the crafting of the worlds and characters that live on that Universe. So I just want to drop a thank you for sharing your stories and writing with all of us. I know how hard it is to finish a new chapter/book so I'm patiently waiting for your next one. Keep up the great work =)

jabab2 Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I agree with the others here that your writing has been amazing and I am so looking forward to the next book. Any idea on a possible release date, I'm so craving to know what happens next.?
Clydee Posted June 22, 2011 Author Posted June 22, 2011 I emailed Topher last week about the Black Prince and he had this to say, Hope it Helps. . . . The last thing I read the Excaliber was sitting on the ground with everyone stranded....
jabab2 Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Christopher are you still out there? I hope you haven't stopped writing because you have a gift that should not go to waste. Please let me know if the Falcon series has ended, because I have never stopped looking for the next book. Thanks for all you do. Your Fan, Jason
Topher Lydon Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Yes I am still out here. Yes I know Book Six is very late. It's a tough one to write, and my work has kept me crazily busy... and living in China I was cut off for two years. I hope to change all of that. 1
jabab2 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I just started reading the series again and you got me hooked for the second time. Keep up the great writing and please let me know when the sixth book comes out. I'll be the first to purchase it. Thanks
Clydee Posted March 16, 2012 Author Posted March 16, 2012 This is my annual request for an update, CPL, any progress to report?
Topher Lydon Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 no no, Questions are welcome. My passwords have been restored, and I can actually get on this now. 1
jabab2 Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Any update on the final book? we are eagerly waiting the completion and look forward to the new adventure. Thanks for all you do, Jason
Clydee Posted August 11, 2013 Author Posted August 11, 2013 Hows it coming, Christopher? Any progress to report? Please??
Clydee Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 You know what, I am beginning to think Christopher has abandoned this story. How long has it been? Over a year and a half since the last post from him and while I realize he had to redo the last book...oh, never mind, I'm just whining. I'm afraid he's going to lose his audience if we don't get something pretty soon. I would hate to see that happen, I love all his books.
cdot27 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Now that I've re-read the series in paperback again, I'm ready to throw my hat into the ring and bug Topher for an update! Are we still on track, my friend? You've got at least one reader who's supporting you and looking forward to more of your work! Also, if you need an editor I'm happy to offer my services! Keep on chugging :-)
jason_27 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Hey bud, I hope things are going well. I know a lot of people have already asked you about the next book, but I want to make sure you knew that there are a lot of dedicated fans out there waiting to see what comes next. We will wait as long as it takes, but I'm hoping its not to long. If you need anything please let us know. Jason
Topher Lydon Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Life has seen fit to give me a year from hell. A rather bitter break up, job loss... a rather trying time in China... and, not to forget, a person using my books as a way to steal personal information from me. I've been through the wringer a bit lately. Finding the time to write when I was going through what I was going through wasn't easy. Putting a roof over my head, keeping food on the table, and trying my best to manage took priority. I have not abandoned the series, I had to look at what was good for my immediate needs. I apologize that there is a delay, but my real life concerns took over.
