Gene Splicer PHD Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 OH MY GOD, you mean you're HUMAN? Go easy. We've got time. 1
cdot27 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Sorry to hear that things have been tough! Just so you know, your writing has been a part of my life for around 10 years now - through all of college, across continents, relationships, career changes, tough times, and now into my 30s. That is to say: I'm not going anywhere :-) Take your time here and know that we're waiting patiently to dive back into the lives of these characters that have come to life in your books.
MstrMike Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Hi Christopher! Let me start by saying I totally understand how life gets in the way of our projects sometimes. Hopefully, you find yourself well and have been able to sort out your issues. I have been a fan of yours since I first found out your Carter saga and Falcon Banner stories back on Nifty years ago. It's been so long, I don't remember when that was... I then purchased all your books on lulu, when I found it irritating trying to find your stories in the online library whenever I needed a good fix of your stories. I probably re-read the sagas once a year each. Then there were the Falcon Banner "live audio reads" I guess I'll call them; where the characters were impersonated, but that never really took off. It was around that time that I stopped finding anything related to the continuation of book 6, The Black Prince. I never should have believed what I found on a forum at that time where it said you had been victim of an illness; I guess my gullible youth was at fault there! But I have been going on this assumption since then. Imagine my happy surprise today (just a few minutes ago) when I opened book 1 to start reading the Banner series again; and did a random search on Google for your name and The Black Prince and this discussion tread showed up with you, replying to other people's comments! The last one being close to a year ago, but still, my heart was lifted knowing you were still out there. And now, I will patiently await the next developments as I re-start the Falcon Banner series. Let us know what you are up to, and I am looking forward to reading you again. Regards, Mike 1
Topher Lydon Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Thanks guys, for the support. My health has not been the strongest of late, and I am happy for all the support. 1
Topher Lydon Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 I apologize, A train accident put me in a wheel chair, my health collapsed as a result. I was put on heavy medications that left me a vegetable for a significant run of over five years. I've been through it, and writing simply wasn't possible. I can't promise this book, it's been so long and I am just not the same person I was. So much time was taken from me. I am sorry. 2 3

But you can move forward. There are many options. i hope you find something that works for you and that you enjoy writing once more. All the best. 1 3
Ron Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 (edited) @Topher Lydon Damn! You say that you're sorry. Wow! A generous individual. 11 hours ago, Topher Lydon said: I can't promise this book ... As one would expect per, your description of events. Although I haven't read any of your works, they do seem to be well liked (usually on condition of being well done), and, so, I'll need to add your works to the many things I would like to experience before my ... Well, I'm sure that you get the drift. One thought: For a work of yours that garners much attention and has yet to be completed, might you consider (in the back of your mind -- location to be determined) a collaboration with a writer intimately familiar (or willing to become so) and sympatico with your work? It may strike a spark; and good things to follow. Best regards and Welcome back, Topher Edited July 1, 2025 by Ron 3

I'll trade you and read yours if you read one of mine. (Now I sound like we're in School sharing sandwiches.) 2
