Hi all.

 

I forgot to start this topic when I posted Double Down. I started this story with an idea for the anthology. Unfortunately, I thought, it kept growing, absolutely refusing to stay a single chapter story. Marc has too many problems, Nat is too damn cute and Ry, well, that is one persistant little brother. I decided to stop trying to stifle them and let them go. This story is what came to me after that. I've written a good portion of it already but decided to post, knowing that would get me to finish it So, hopefully it won't be long until you all get to read the end, I just have to figure out HOW it ends In advance, let me say thank you to everyone for their comments!

I am glad you gave the story it's head (it's head) and I am looking forward to see what happens next. I already like your characters and, of course I enjoyed the violence.

Okay, Ch. 4 has been posted and that's it for the story. Short and posted quickly. Before I get anyone else too sad it's over I will say that I am thinking of revisiting these guys sometime in the future. I would love to hear more thoughts on Double Down and the characters, so feel free to post on what you've read or would like to read with Marc, Nat and Rylan.

What an action packed story! Very movie-like.

 

I really like Ry. He's really mature for his age but he does have his moments of fragility. Nat too is pretty awesome, combined with the fact that he's a great cook... : ) I was kinda disappointed that Pres didn't show his sorry ass again in the story.

 

Great job Cia, I'll have to read your other story sometime soon!

I would like to read the story of how Marc got involved in all this in the first place. And I would also like to see where they go from here. I have an idea that Pres would be a fun character to write and I so want to see more of Nat. In his line of work I am sure there are adventures had and to have. I don't think Marc realises what a dangerous job it could be.

 

Being the awesome writer you are I am sure that you would do an excellent job on either or both of those projects.

I think Pres would be cool to write. Speaking of which, I was kinda skeptical when it was revealed that Pres was completely using Marc. He DID apologize [although he did runaway and do a buncha other douchey things], I just don't see him as a completely one dimensional cold hearted bastard. Maybe it was 'cause he was introduced pretty vividly early in the story.

Well, I do have a few ideas about Nat and Marc. I've been writing down a few things that could turn into something. I know this story was short compared to most but I had fully intended it to be a single chapter short story when I started. Things just developed a bit more t han I thought. I've a few things I'd like to work on, but I do hope to come back to these characters in the future. Thanks for the comments, Nephy and Fishwings!!
