Jwolf Posted July 29, 2011 Author Posted July 29, 2011 I swoon, I swoon. Since he's the inspiration for Steven, I'd go ahead and say he's sticking around for a while. FYI.
methodwriter85 Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 (edited) Here's a random video of Armie Hammer that his friend took in 2006, when he would have been 19 or 20 and therefore close to Steven's age. For a guy to be sitting on a couch wearing a pair of jeans without any hair or makeup and still looking gorgeous as hell is quite the accomplishment. There are some guys who really need all that stuff to look good yet they're considered beautiful. *cough* Robert Pattinson*cough* Edited July 29, 2011 by methodwriter85
Jwolf Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 Chapter 6, Child's Play, is up and out. Read it here and let me know what you think! Also, if anyone knows how to embed the link to the forum in the endnote of the chapter, could you please let me know? I'm struggling with that
methodwriter85 Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 (edited) Seriously, do these kids actually care about school or do any of their work? How do these kids maintain high GPA's with resume-building activities? That just seems pathetic not just on Tori's part, but Logan's as well. I was a slacker in high school, but that was just because I didn't care in general. If these kids put a tenth of the energy into school that they put into destroying each other, they'd have perfect 4.0's and a shot at the Ivy Leagues. How is Tori going to handle it when she starts going to work as a lower-level intern and she actually has to answer to a boss? It just seems like at the kind of school where everyone's pushed to go to Ivy League they'd be too busy channeling their energy into that than doing such petty b.s. And does anyone else find the irony in Tori worshipping Audrey Hepburn, who was the epitomy of grace and compassion for others? Which Tori doesn't have at all? So I'm confused here. Was "Project Rehab" a plot from Day 1, or was that what Tori cooked up after the blackmail plot? In any event, I think this is going to end with Tori putting a hit out on Taylor, and making it look like Logan did it, sending him to jail for first degree murder. Edited August 4, 2011 by methodwriter85
Conner Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I must admit that Tori putting a "hit" out on Taylor and framing Logan is an interesting take on just how far Tori will go. Logan has motive given the beating he took from Taylor. What Tori doesn't know is that Taylor's become a double agent - as Logan referred to him. I believe Logan could establish that connection to Taylor through the woman at the health clinic - the woman who provided the Tori pics to Logan. I do believe that Tori is quite capable of putting such a plan into action. Unfortunately, authors tend not to comment on plot theories one way or the other, unless, of course, they're completely off the wall. Your theory certainly isn't. This is the only story that I'm currently following where I feel the need to strap myself into my chair. It's quite the ride.
Jwolf Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 So, I didn't want to answer Conner and Method's theories because they were verging on close... not exactly a hit, but definitely something... explosive. Read the next chapter here and let me know what you think!
methodwriter85 Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 So he got slipped a Mickie and crashed his car. Nice. The reaction to Tori reminded me of when Blair was dethroned on Gossip Girl- by itself, Blair hooking up with Chuck wouldn't have been a big deal, but because everyone was eager for her to fall they pounced on the opportunity. Also, Logan reads Cosmo? Damn, I knew he was a flamer. LOL.
Jwolf Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 Hey... I read Cosmo and I wouldn't say I'm a flamer. I'm definitely warm, but not totally on fire. There are some GOOD tips in there the next time you're trying to shake things up with your man And to answer you're earlier question, Project Rehab was a plot from Day 1, but not necessarily in that much detail. I'd like to think Tori decided to get rid of Logan following their initial conversation. She saw someone who wouldn't fold in him and she couldn't have that kind of person lingering around. It's moot now... she crasher her Audi into homeboy's car and he hit a pole. They're both pretty much hosed.
methodwriter85 Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 So basically if she's going down, he's going down with her. In any event, if I were Logan, I would have made sure Tori won, and then projected the fat girl images on a big jumbotron set up in the gym while she went up to do her acceptance speech. Much more evil that way.
Jwolf Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 Chapter 8, While You Were Sleeping, is up and availablehere. Check it out, return here and join the discussion. Thanks so much for reading.
Conner Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 I've been trying to figure out what Tori meant, whether it was in Logan's dream or actual reality, when she said something about I've come "to warn you". First thought was that she was simply saying, "This ain't over yet, poodle! Stay tuned." Taylor provided the answer. Logan's the new "Queen Bee". Given Logan's response to what party he would be attending, he took his first step as the reigning Big Haired Bitch. He's now the target Tori was. Any thoughts?
methodwriter85 Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 (edited) Does this mean Logan is going to wear the big red scrunchie now? (Come on, Tori is totally Heather Chandler.) Edited August 18, 2011 by methodwriter85
Jwolf Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 Does this mean Logan is going to wear the big red scrunchie now? (Come on, Tori is totally Heather Chandler.) What is your damage, Heather?

Given Logan's response to what party he would be attending, he took his first step as the reigning Big Haired Bitch. He's now the target Tori was. Any thoughts? Basically, Tori knows what Logan is in for as the new Queen Bee, so to speak. It's not that easy, though. He still has to earn his stripes by striking the same kind of fear that Tori did in her 'subjects', but he'll have Taylor at his side to help him. Plus, a little recon work shows him how Tori won her spot, so that should be fun. Also, if there was anyone else gunning for the position of Queen, now would be there time to strike. I'd like to think Tori was warning Logan that he may be on top now, but it never lasts. See you next Wednesday
methodwriter85 Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Are there any people at this school who are popular because they're actually pretty nice, friendly, and pleasant to be around?
Jwolf Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 Are there any people at this school who are popular because they're actually pretty nice, friendly, and pleasant to be around? I guess you could consider Steven, and to a certain extent Eric 'popular' but still nice to people. They aren't total dicks, that it. But no, Like any high school, I feel like there's a middling population of people who don't care. They're good people and respected among their clique and don't really take much stock in the social comings and goings of the 'popular' kids. Does that answer your question?
Jwolf Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 Here goes! The next chapter is up and available here. I almost couldn't find a movie title to go with this chapter, but then I stumbled on Tomorrow, When the War Began, and it sums everything up PERFECTLY. Check it out and let me know what you think!
methodwriter85 Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 I have Logan pictured as Chris Colfer from Glee. LOL. Dude be mad flaming, yo. I had never head the term "srat" before I read JWolf's stories, and I actually had been to many frat parties my freshman year. I'm thinking it must not be an East Coast term- I'd heard sorostitute, but not srat. To be honest I think it makes my teeth grind. LOL. I like that it's not going to be so easy.
Jwolf Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 Dude be mad flaming, yo. Woof. When did you purchase your copy of Rosetta Stone: Ebonics? It baffles me that you've never heard the word 'Srat'. Its 'Frats' and 'Srats'. It rhymes. I guess we did have a penchant for lyrical nicknames where I went to school in VA, but still. It's totally an East Coast thing. You've never heard of a 'sratstar'? Also, I'll go ahead and tease, yeah, it won't be easy. If folks thought Tori was a scary mofo bitch... wait until you see who she took the crown from...
methodwriter85 Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Nope. Never heard it, ever. In all 5 years of undergrad college. It's interesting how things can vary. I visited West Chester, and people there did not say "rager" or "sick" the way they do at University Of Delaware.
Jwolf Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 Hey all! The latest chapter, There Will Be Blood, is up and available here. Check it out, leave a comment or return here and kick up a conversation
Conner Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 I've been trying to decide which of the two BHB's, Tori or Summer, presents the greater challenge. Two observations come to mind right away. They have different styles in "ruling" over their subjects. Secondly, they both have a breaking point. Tori is more, shall I say, cerebral. She plots her victim's demise, all the while calling them "poodle". She sets you up for the fall. One day you wake up toast. I'm positive Summer carries thumbscrews on her designer belt. She's more direct and, it appears, more physical in her approach. She looks you in the eyes and tells you about the pain you're about to suffer. Does she have henchmen like Tori? Haven't seen any yet. Which style would Logan be more effective against? I for one don't have a clue. I think it's safe to say both scare the crap out of him. So that leaves breaking points. Tori's tucked away in rehab. Summer is back from her "girl interrupted" scenario with Tori a year ago. Is she "healthy"? Don't know. A key question I have is should Logan seek out Tori and ask for her help? Tori was Summer's best friend. Best friends tell each stuff. Would Tori cooperate? Could Logan get to Tori via Eric? Thoughts?
Jwolf Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 Better late than never. The next chapter is up and available here. Also, Conner, you might be some sort of psychic. Or you're reading too much of my stuff. Or quite possibly both
methodwriter85 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I was really hoping that Logan was going to fake icing out Taylor to make Summer think he was loyal while not actually being loyal. Man. What an amateur. The smart move would have been that Logan pretended that he was on the outs with Taylor while figuring out a way to take Summer down.
