TetRefine Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 As much as I like Tom Brady, Bill Belichik makes it hard to root for NE. Thats ok. We're used to being hated anywhere outside New England.
JamesSavik Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Sean Payton was reinstated today as the Saints head coach. He is already organizing the scouting of the senior bowl.
JamesSavik Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Why is this mutt still employed? (FYI Rex Ryan- coach of the underachieving Jets 6-10) 1
methodwriter85 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Alright, let's hear it for the former Blue Hen, Joe Flacco! Woo-hoo! http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/ravens/2013/01/28/joe-flacco-delaware/1871301/ And we will fight, fight for Delaware...fight for the Blue and Gold...and when we hit that line let foes beware...
MJ85 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Sports Illustrated Features Gay Kiss in its Super Bowl Preview Issue
W_L Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Amazing, the game is on 21-3 in Ravens favor. Wow!
Daddydavek Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Well it wasn't a blowout like the first half indicated. The Ravens prevailed but the young quarterback for the 'Niners was impressive.
W_L Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Yup, the SF QB personal touchdown was cool and I personally thought there was holding when they were throwing the ball, but the ravens were smarter and fought using the clock plus field position with the touchback decision. SF played a good physical game, but Baltimore played a better technical game.
JamesSavik Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 One of the best superbowls in memory. I think the 49ers had the best comeback that I can remember. Worst commercials in stupor-bowl history. WTF was godaddy.com thinking? That was disgusting.
methodwriter85 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Let's hear it for the Ravens. Joe Flacco completely deserved MVP. 1
TetRefine Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I was waiting for Ray Lewis to ascend into heaven at the 50 yard line. 1
Prince Duchess Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 That was a game of games, and to think it took a power outage to give the 49ers life they better thank 'nawlins for that cause without it they wouldve been blown out! Now lets get ready for the combine!
layla Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Man i have never screamed and cussed so much watching a single game! That was epic
Y_B Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Not a fan of ether teams but that was good Commercials sucked.
TetRefine Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Not a fan of ether teams but that was good Commercials sucked. True most of the commercials did suck. But the Dodge "Farmer" commercial was epic.
methodwriter85 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkJKxrFrL3g This is the first experience I've ever had of seeing a team I follow win the Super Bowl. What a great feeling!
W_L Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I was waiting for Ray Lewis to ascend into heaven at the 50 yard line. Jacoby Jones was 108 yards closer to it
TetRefine Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 We have just enough Baltimore fans here in Philly to make it annoying. 1
methodwriter85 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 (edited) We have just enough Baltimore fans here in Philly to make it annoying. You don't like the Ravens, Matt? I would imagine there's got to be a fair amount of Ravens fan in Philly- the Eagles are out of contention, and it's almost like vicariously living through them, since the Eagles have never gotten a Super Bowl. Flacco also went to University of Delaware, which is an area school. There's a lot of Flacco coverage going on here in the Greater Philadelphia area. It was just an awesome moment. I finally lived to see a Super Bowl happen for a team I follow. I kinda wish it had happened in 2011 though, because I lived in the Pittsburgh region then and people HATED Joe Flacco and the Ravens. Nope, don't like them at all. They've sorta replaced the Colts as our new conference powerhouse rival.

Prince Duchess Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 They just upset in Boston cause we did in the Super Bowl they failed to do the year prior and that is bring the trophy back to their adoring fans. Mardi gras has officially commenced in Charm City! #weinhere
methodwriter85 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 (edited) Flacco really did earn the hell out of this. Edited February 5, 2013 by methodwriter85 1
