Thanks Forloyn, I tried to make it an anime style fighting scene. It was really hard to create a battle scene with just words

Hey BM,

Just read chapter 8. God how I can't wait for all those asses to get theirs. I don't know who I hate more, the father or the sister.

Take care and I can't wait for chapter 9. It's a great story dude.

Take care and write fast, hehe. :)

I have to agree with Mike on this one... I found myself really loathing all of them... and I found myself wanting to protect both Jim and Michael throughout the chapter (or, more to the point, throughout the entire story, but...)

Anyway, good chapter :great: can't wait to read chapter 9!

Hey BM,

Thanks Taryn, I was kind of hoping the Aunt would do or say something to her brother. Let's see what ch. 9 brings. Maybe the sister will get her comeupins'

Take care, :)

Well, I think the problem there is the fact that Jim is trying to hide it from his Aunt that he's getting beaten by his dad... which doesn't make too much sense to me, since with today's laws, it'd probably be easy enough to get him out of that household. *shrug*

Developmental psychology readings and studies show that a child who is a victim of mental and physical abuse by a loved one will often believe that there is something wrong with them that causes the abuse. As a result they don't tell anybody about the abuse because of this reason and the fact that hey love the family member too much. In Jim's case he thinks that if he tells his aunt she will see his 'flaw' in the same light as his father.

Of course his aunt wouldn't hurt him but Jim is only fourteen and that's the way that his mind works.

It is very sad to say the least. :(

You got that right. Unfortunately the counselling process to deal with kids who have this problem is long and difficult and in many cases unsucessful :(

That's very troubling... :(

I guess, having not had to experience that myself, I didn't realize that kids could think that it was their fault... and it just makes me so mad that there are parents out there that would do that to their own child...

Having read the latest Chapter, I'm looking forward to the next one with some excitement. Now that Michael and Jim have met in the real world  , will they get to remain together in both worlds? Or will Elysium remain a safe haven?

I'm sure the answers to those questions and others will come in time. Keep it up, BM. :worship::great:

Thanks guys  I probably won't update for a while though as I'm working on my HP story atm.

BM,

You give us a fix then we got to go through withdrawls again. This is the sad fact of having so many irons in the fire at the same time. I love this story as well as Tears od Blood but as a fellow author, trying to juggle more than 2 stories at one time can be over whelming and something I can't do. I hope you can post a chapter of TOB soon.

Take care dude and know we love you, :)
