Ronyx Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Did anyone else fall flat on your face with your bracket this weekend? It has been a wild March Madness. First, #1 Virginia goes down to a #16 team. There goes my bracket. I had Virginia winning the championship. Kerplunk!! Then #1 Xavier...Kerplunk...#2 North Carolina...Kerplunk...#2 Cincinnati...Kerplunk... #1's Villanova and Kansas are still in the mix, as well as #2's Duke and Purdue. At the rate the top teams are falling, we just might see a Cinderella team cutting down the nets on April 2. Any predictions now that many of our brackets have been busted? I guess I'll follow the betting odds and go with Duke, although they haven't impressed me this year. 1 1
Carlos Hazday Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Add UCLA, Miami, and Arizona to the losers bracket. I don't have a horse in this race any longer. I'll root for Duke hoping an ACC team will make the Final Four. 1
Ronyx Posted March 26, 2018 Author Posted March 26, 2018 We're down to the Final Four: Loyola-Chicago vs. Michigan and Villanova vs. Kansas. Since all my favorite teams will be watching the finals from their La-Z-Boy recliners, I'll be cheering on Loyola-Chicago because who wouldn't root for a team who has 98 year-old Sister Jean as the head cheerleader? 1 1
Daddydavek Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 I think Michigan will be their biggest test yet. It's been fun to follow their success. 1
Krista Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 As long as Duke, North Carolina, UCLA, Syracuse are no longer in the tournament, I'm good. I'd like to see Loyala-Chicago go on, but Villanova or Michigan winning won't upset me either. Not a big fan of Kansas though. 1
Ronyx Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 It's down to the final two- Michigan and Villanova. Anyone want to make a prediction? Mine: Villanova by 5 points.
Krista Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 They're both really hot right now.. I'd want to see... Michigan win though. The team I think will win though is Villanova by 10-12ish. I just think they're the best team in the nation and have been all year to be honest. 1
