Former Member Posted May 4, 2024 Author Posted May 4, 2024 Galuppi's most oft recorded piano sonata. Remind you of Mozart any? LOL!!!!!!!!! 2
Former Member Posted May 14, 2024 Author Posted May 14, 2024 (edited) The Azahar Ensemble perform Danzi's d minor quintet. Very compelling, so unlike the studio recordings of Danzi where subtleties are bulldozed in favor of "brilliance." Here 5 people actually bring this music alive because they love it Edited June 1, 2024 by AC Benus 2
Parker Owens Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 This is a beautiful performance. It sparkles without overwhelming the listener with virtuosity. 2

Zombie Posted February 19, 2025 Posted February 19, 2025 Jesu Joy Of Man’s Desiring / Jesus bleibet meine Freude sung by a beautiful baritone (the voice of course… ) and almost 100 years ago this famous arrangement from 1926 written for solo piano by Dame Myra Hess, a very romantic interpretation, which brings out Bach’s delightful layered counter melodies 1 1
