Drewbie
Here's a link to the story http://www.advocate.com/news_detail_ektid41407.asp http://outsports.com/local/2007/0124anthonytribute.htm there's a few others of post of him, one on espn, he apparently had an older bf, RIP Anthony and I don't know if this the right section to post this on. I put this on partly, because of some don't think you can be gay and an athlete. Edited February 23, 2007 by Drewbie

Courage, Anthony had it, even if he thought he was just living his life the best way he knew how. Rest in Peace Anthony, and know for just being who you were you changed the people around you. If only we all could aspire to suc things I hadn't heard of this till you mentioned it Drewbie, and for that I feel a little shame seeing as I live in the first large city east of Banning. Bill W
I always find it strange when people think athletes can't be gay. Such time-worn sterotypes need to finally be put to rest and maybe guys like Anthony and other athletes willing to come out (even in professional sports, as you may have recently seen), then this inane idea will finally go away. I for one love sports, played sports, officiated sports and coached sports for most of my life and I think it only made me like guys even more - oh, those locker room memories.
