underthehoodster Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 I promised you an update, so here it is. Part II of P&J (re-edited) is now complete. Check it out in the library at the P&J website. You can reread some of your favorite chapters and check out the illustrations (some are clickable!). Also, I 've added some pictures to the character gallery. Remember, anyone can contribute. Just remember to keep the pics age appropriate to how old the characters are in the story (no high school Perry or collegiate Morgan). As far as the update you really want, well...I have started Part VI, but haven't been working on it lately. There are a number of reasons why, none of which have to do with a lack of ideas. I apologize for the long delay. It was never my intention to keep readers hanging for this long. I know you are not sitting there holding your breath waiting for the next new chapter of P&J, but I also realize it is frustrating to have a story you are interested in come to a dead stop at some random point in the saga. All I can suggest is that you check in periodically here at the forum. If there is news, it will definitely be posted here first. Thanks to all the readers, old and new who continue to email me and encourage me to continue the story. A special thanks to Dennis (djd) for his flawless work as webmaster, and to Francis and Lostone for helping out with proofreading duties. underthehoodster
Guest crazyeights Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Does anybody else think it is waaaaaaaaaay past time for a P&J update? Please let us know if we should give up or keep hoping. Thanks.
underthehoodster Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 You should not give up hope, but you shouldn't expect new chapters any time soon. The circumstances of my life at the moment are just not conducive to making the enormous time commitment necessary to keep P&J going at the quality level I would want. But the time will come... In the meantime, I appreciate hearing from readers old and new (just got an email from the Australian outback!!!) and am continuing with the re-editing project. Many thanks to Dennis and Francis for their fine work and infinite patience.
