This word has a paucity of comments. (Personally, like pawcity better.) -

He may have used the sword but he may have pulled the lynchpin and removed the yoke, finding the ends and undoing the knot. I wasn't there so can't say which action actually happened... -
I wonder how the xeric plants in Death Valley are doing in the second year of lots of moisture..

soapstone - Word of the Day - Tue Jan 23, 2024
ranchered commented on Myr's blog entry in Writing World
My first exposure to soapstone was (eons ago) at 6th grade camp. We were given a chunk of it to carve into whatever shape we imagined. I don't recall what mine was but scarily enough I do still have it some where. -

ranchered commented on Myr's blog entry in Writing World
I'm hibernating in evenings so my soirees are very dream-related. -

ranchered commented on Myr's blog entry in Writing World
Always have thought of the mongoose as the hyperactive version of a meerkat. Imagine my surprise to see that they are related. -

That picture has hypnotized me into EATING ALL the pretzels. They were all stale, need new teeth. 😒 -
Indirectly drink it everyday. Never have I ever eaten a dog biscuit.
-
Yes, like the song says, "save a horse, ride a cowboy" 😲 Never have I ever had gay sex outside in snow.
-
Pretty sure a friend I knew eons ago in Portland (OR) was the definition of promiscuous, he had 5 partners in the span of 3 hours.
-
Err, sand is not a friend during sex and yes to the drink. Never have I ever had sex on horseback.
-
Yes and put a linen tablecloth on the picnic table along with crystal glasses, fine china, and gold ware. Had fillet mignon and all the fixings. The other campers drooled and accurately said it was a gay thing (for having a pretty table.) Okay am hungry again... Never have I ever eaten in an underwater restaurant.

I did have a seaman bf once, does that count as being "in"?

Probably another Galaxy, far far faaaaar away..

The flying penguin is a sight to see.. Never have I ever painted chocolate on a nude male, though am willing. 🥰

This story is like watching a freight train derailing and there's nothing the reader can do except keep reading, hoping it gets better. Obviously, the story is about overcoming serious mental abuse by misguided parents and an unlikely love relationship caught up in the mess. Before the introduction of Herky (Finn's dog) to the story, Finn himself was described, accurately as a big puppy. These two things gave smiles to my face amidst the tears of Alec's pain. Even if the reader has never experienced these types of pain, this story would awaken empathy to help those in need in the real world. Have tissues ready and hold on, this is a story to read.

I cuddle my furry four legged friend many times over the day, and not because it's been 7F for a few mornings... If there was a human male here too, cuddles are good in my romantic book.
-
Moving on ... When I was 52, a friend asked me how many guys I have dated (had a relationship with).. since I figured out I was gay at 11, the number was low. I suppose that those who do hookups would have a much larger number but that has never been my thing, too much of a romantic (or if you prefer, want all the connection strings to whom I am with.)

Pine nuts are an essential ingredient for Baklava, regular (with walnuts) or with green almonds (known as Queen Baklava) - Turkish Baklava is made with pistachios. And now I am hungry.. 😲 -
