I don't disagree it's a talented bunch this year but "most talent of any" is a bit of a far stretch. Different tastes for different people I s'pose. I don't really have a problem with the show lol I'm still watching it, which shows my interest. It's just that I don't particularly "like" the group this year, regardless of their talent. Something about everyone being teenagers makes it a little less entertaining. Now about Jessica and Philip...this is annoying. I can't say I see them being anywhere near as spectacular as to match the amount of praise they've been getting. The judges have basically put em on pedestals and it really just ruins it a little, esp since I don't recall the judges showing this much favoritism towards anyone in the past from what I remember but then again Paula and Simon are gone.

She's been pulling the rabbit out for like a month. I'm convinced the shows (slightly) fixed. Anyways, I think Philip may win it this year, not because I like him and not because I think he's really talented, but he clearly appeals the most to the main demographic of Idol watchers, which are 15 year old girls. God this is an annoying year. I haven't watched a full season since 2007, and it's kinda disappointing to come back to this.

I eat a big breakfast...enough to gag me up stupid. It'll be something like toast with peanut butter, yogurt, fruit, and either a protein bar if I'm on the go or I make my own shake with like 20-30g of protein in milk...and a cup of coffee at the office. I don't do sugary cereal...that's basically asking for a 11am crash. Now that I think about it, breakfast is prolly my biggest meal of the day. Lunch is whatever...usually leftover food from the night before or if I have time, I go home and make something like grilled chicken with veggies. Avocados are my thanggg, couldn't live without em. Dinner is always my mom's cooking. I also practically munch on stuff all day long...it's better to space it all out anyways. If you wanna eat healthier, timing and portion are important. Stuff your face earlier in the day and cut back in the evenings, especially starchy food.

People suck, and the gay crowd sucks even more. I've learned that a long time ago, and it's why I stay away from it. The gay crowd...not people Sure your life prolly sucks in that regard, but so does mine and so do a lot of peoples'. Like you said, channel your energy into building yourself up into an individual living life to your interests rather than always looking for another person to attach yourself to. It's what I'm trying to do. Screw people and what they want or don't want. I'm better than any of the guys who's ever turned me down.

I didn't know DK or the circumstances surrounding him but from what it seems like, he and a coupla members had a feud in the soapbox. A coupla people I knew in the past had left because they felt ganged up against on GA...that may or may not have been the case but I doubt people intentionally do that here.

Elise has pretty solid voice and style, I like her quite and bit. I read an article about the whole Jessica/Hollie thing when Jessica got scooped that week and it talked about how people who watch the show started siding with Hollie because J was turning into the judges pet and nobody likes that and Hollie was getting beat on week after week. The thing about American Idol is that at this point of the show, most people prolly have their set fan base already, but of course nothing is a guarantee.

I think most people have, at least part of, their heads up in lala land without ever realizing it. Books, music, movies, etc keep entertaining us with all these fascinating people, places and events its hard not to think about them and compare it our own reality and think how much reality sometimes sucks. To cope with it or even just to live with a little bit of a better satisfaction, I think most of us keep a foot inside that fantasy land of how we think things should be, who we're suppose to see, what we're suppose to find in everyday life and forget to take in what actually is, what we do see, and what we do find

He was a great tv personality, and I've always liked him a lot. I know a lot of you know and probably liked American Bandstand. He's always seemed like a great guy and I'll miss seeing him on Rockin Eve. Talk about someone who looks like a former President of the US
