The US doesn't have a culture that relies on public transportation. You either have to sit back and do nothing because putting money into something people won't use is a waste or you have to make that something better so people may use it. But if you ask me, the majority of people will just not be that ready to use public transportation. You take away the keys to some men's f150 and give them bus passes, you still may as well have cut off their balls. Sure, a few years ago the public shifted somewhat but that's because gas prices were so high and it was temporary. As far as flying goes, I don't know. I don't fly much.

Krista go suck a duck. Anyhoo. I can see a lotta players being happy over the fact that a lot of them are going to get a much better chance of playing for and winning a national championship. I love college football and it's got a great regular season. If they decide to up to playoffs to include a lot more teams, that might interrupt the whole format...but I guess 4 teams is a good start for now. It'll test itself out.

They really need to just let the Spiderman series die. With all the other super hero movies out there, the spiderman movies are the weakest of the weak sauces and the most homosexual (and not in the good way)

Eh, this obsession people have over youth and time is overrated. I'm not fretting about growing up. There's so much more to life than being young, stupid, poor, and without a real sense of purpose Besides, I'm totally gonna be one of those guys who will look 25 at 30 and 30 at 40.

I use to watch Troy dive from 10 feet away every other day Perks of having worked in the Longhorns Aquatics program. He was the most consistently sound diver there but It was weird cuz everyone's always changing up what they're practicing but he only ever did like 1 or two different dives....off the springboard going into backflip twists. I'm looking forward to the Olympics. My friend had put in bids for tickets years back but he still didn't get them. London would have been funnnnn

Things like community service, cell phone and internet restriction can only do so much. Those things really don't teach kids the "wrong" of what they do, it just lets them know that the consequences of doing certain things will lead to getting their stuff taken away. There's a difference. My puppy use to play bite all the time. Every time he did it, we put him away for 5-10 minutes so he knows that biting = end of playtime. He's gotten a lot better, but in his mind the only association that exists is that biting=no play time, not biting = bad, and it's the playtime he wants. So the point is that there needs to be a proper form of education that teaches kids how to actually be good people rather than just how to avoid getting inconvenienced. i don't really know what that would be. But if you do ask me, I think those kids on the bus need to eat their own medicine. When you've been humiliated publicly to the point of tears, I doubt you'd do it to somebody else ever again.

^^ But I guess we'd never know. And anyone can say "would have", "could have", "should have"...which are very different from "did". So if you could possibly provide an example or two of something your education veteran grandmother have resolved that's to a similar magnitude, it might just make all of your "would have", "could have", and "it is possible" comments a little more impressive.

I think I mostly agree but I think back a little and wonder... I was a total maniac as a little kid. The kind that causes parents to rush in and lose their shit on me because I had been a jerkwad to someone's child. I don't like to believe 75% of this was on my family. We're all close and my uncles, aunts and cousins all spent time with each other and I was the only child who behaved like that. God, the stories they could tell you today, some bits I personally remember. I grew out of it eventually and believe it or not, I'm actually a nice guy in real life lolzzz seriously I turned out ok and that I do thank my parents for. But yeah...shitty kids usually have shitty parents.

Honestly, not many of you would have the wits about you to really know how to handle a situation like that without either putting yourself behind bars, losing your job and/or having the tables turned and making a fool out of yourself on Youtube. Oh, I woulda smacked those kids so hard they'd be scraping brains off the bus windows for days......gimme a break.

Sometimes people just have a way of getting to others with or without intention, directly or indirectly. It's easy to tell someone to toughen up but the reality of it is that everyone's got an Achilles' and an elderly lady will likely not have as much to grip on compared to a 40 year old 6 ft 2 man. Nobody is denying that everyone can benefit from being tough in this world and being able to stand up for themselves but it takes work, and we're all strong...until we're not. Ya know? So have some understanding for a person who was hurt, I doubt she wanted to be. You've all been there, and you'll be there again. Not a single one of you live a trouble-free life, and one man's trouble can very well be another man's joke.
