Another great chapter (51), Mark you did it again! I really like that Kevin went to see Brad as a kid. Hopefully, Brad will find some good in those early years. This whole ordeal maybe will help Brad deal with his past. I can see the Carmichael going down as we speak. Alex and David what a delightful pair! And folks the moral of the story is that hate never wins in the long run. Hate makes you blind to all the facts, you only see what you want to see. Over 60 chapters, great, keep them coming!

I have only one thing to say HOT!!!

Mark has his way of giving us hints along the way. Will is young and as a young gay person he is getting to know who he is. That is not easy for any of us. The good thing is he has many good role models. He also is not afraid of love or loving someone. I think it was his great grandmother (Tonto) who said never be afraid of love. Hopefully he will get to know her through the many people who remember and loved her. When Brad was in high school, he was a very shy kid only himself with his family. Slowly, Brad was able to put that shyness away. I think Will will be able to do that too. I am also wondering if Claire's son John and Will will have a relationship. Was there a hint of that a few chapters back. As for Matt and Wade, both of these guys are fun and now that Wade is dealing with his father and the years of abuse I think and hope they might have a long future together. Mark brought up something I found very interesting. He said Brad's rebirth and the changes with JP were very much the same. Both were shy kids as children. Both gay and both had rejection. Both fought for those they love. Both had a hero to lean on. With JP it was Steven and later Tonto. With Brad is was Stef. JP's change was more like a thaw. The iceman was slowly melting. With Brad nothing is slow. It's not his nature. Both changes were done through a great deal of pain. JP's started with the death of Steven all those years ago. Look at all the lovers he has lost. Brad's childhood was unbelievable bad. It is lucky he survived. If you look carefully almost all the characters are damaged from loss, death, or abuse but that only makes them more real, more heroic. It makes this story and these people worth reading about worth coming back again and again.

There are two issues which I would like to discuss: The first is Brad. We as readers have seen him go from a baby to the shy five year old, then the 10 year old kid bonding with Stef, then the gay teenager in high school, the college student, He always was loyal person who would fight for people he loved. Like the time he stood up for Jack and Claire. Or confronted Sam on the plane. He defended Matt against Brian a number of times. It was Brad who brought Stef back after he was shot. It is easy to love Brad. All of us would want a friend like him in our corner when the chips were down. I was very upside when Brad and Robbie were having problems. However, I was wrong. Just like our country had a form a more perfect union so did Brad and Robbie. But these last few chapters show me something else. A more perfect Brad. not perfect but improved over coming the pain of childhood and rejection, the pain of almost losing his lover, friend, soul mate. It may have been a new relationship with Robbie but also a reborn Brad. more caring of other people, much less selfish, more in control and more open minded maybe with the help by Father Tim. He is now trying to be a better partner,better dad and better person. Honestly, I liked Brad before but I really like him now. The second person is Will. Over time he has become more of his own person. Not just a younger form of Brad but a real person. Two things in the last two chapters have shown me what he is becoming. Becoming a Stef's blood brother and talking to JP about Andre and JP's coming out. Of all the people of his generation, he even though he is younger still is becoming the person to carry on the legacy in his own way to be sure but still he is the one to end the saga if it should end.

It never ceases to amaze me, that Mark can write like this. Some writers have a good chapter now and then, but not Mark. One great chapter after another always taking us to the edge, time after time. The story only gets better and better. We as readers only can beg for more. I am really glad chapter 48 was followed so quickly by chapter 49. I am also glad Lark and still alive and hope he stays that way. I like the new improved Brad so much better. He has a lot more control that I would have. (Matt and Wade). It is also great to see these guys working so well together. Brad and Robbie. Brad JP and Stef. It will be interesting how Brad will bring Alexandra Carmichael down along with Brian and Dan Church. All the pieces are in place and the time in getting very close. As for ending the saga I thought of JP because he began this great tale, but now it has to be Will and his brothers. Will has became the heir, the new crown prince. Taken Brad's place. More than worthy of telling the final story. Long ago Brad thought of himself as that selfish bastard, through this story he has changed that, dealt with his demons, endured a great deal of pain, and grown up and become a better person. Thanks Mark for letting Brad grow into the person I always thought he could be.

Why would the police be at the house? Is Alexander behind it? Is Lark not answering the phone a clue? Could Brian be part is this? Last time the police were there was because of Carson. Could someone have attacked Stef? Could the French be after Robbie about the murder all those years ago? Or something about Bitty's death? Mark, we need the next chapter soon!

For all Brad's problems he is a good dad. He cares about his kids. Like JP I think he never thought he'd be a father. It wasn't until he saw Darius the cute three year old kid that he even thought about it. This household may not be the normal two parents (one of each sex and their 2.5 kids. The new improved Brad a little less selfish and more giving. He almost lost his family. Now he knows how important they are to him.

Humm a new allies Brad and Elizabeth to take the Carmichael's down. What I love about Mark is that his stories are written so well that you can see heard them saying the words. This last chapter is what I mean, every line every sentence is so right, so good. I wonder some time if these guys are real. Living in California. This is why we come back over and over again. Waiting for the next chapter. No one is better than Mark doing this.

Waiting for this chapter was worth every minute. I will say that who of us wouldn't want to be at that party. Will Brad lose his soul? No I don't think so. I think these guys are much stronger than that. Once Brad and Alexandra meet what will happen? Cody and Brian? We need the next chapter soon! Mark is only getting better and better. Of course we all knew that.

Interestingly that does not happen, If fact Scott helps JP. I think over the Cap saga you see JP slowly change. Once you get into later chapters you get to meet Jeff Hayes. They are good for each other. JP has two people very close to him die Andre and Billy his cousin. I hope you keep reading It is worth it.

I still believe twins hopefully with Matt and Wade as fathers. A bonus would be second set of twins with Robbie and Brad fathers. That would tie the guys together.

I am guessing that Twins are in the offing. one from Matt and the second from Wade. As for Jeanine I think another Christmas present will be delivered about 9 months late. Thank you Mark again, when things seem broken and going to hell, Christmas comes and heals the hurt and pain and all is made new. I have a feeling that Christmas day maybe even better.I wonder how it was in the Carmichael household?

I just thought of something. Maybe JP's problem with letting go of Brian has to do with Jeff. JP is still guilty over Jeff. Thirty one years have passed but he still morns Jeff. Could he have done more? Jeff turned evil at the end. But deep down inside to JP he was the Jeff coming through the door late at night, the Teddy bear. Maybe JP can't live with another member of his family killing himself. JP has welcomed Robbie, Marcel. Matt and Frank all into the family because of Jeff. I know all of you a tired of me saying it but even after 31 years Jeff still has a presence. I hope JP shares all the reasons for his actions with Stef and Brad. JP will come to LA on Christmas Eve and beg for forgiveness. He must because behind all the hurt and angry words Stef and him love each other and they love Brad too. Brad loves JP For JP was the man who saved him all those many years ago. Come on Mark happy ends you love them.

Would JP go back to Ohio? He's been in CA for over thirty years. I would find that really sad. He could resign from Stafford a job I believe he loves. I believe the family now have a difficult situation to deal with. Where does JP fit in? A fallen leader? That too would be sad. I am not sure maybe from a czar to a president with a congress to deal with. Will this break Stefan and him up? Another sad thing. The thought of them not growing old together is also sad. The other thing is how will Robbie react to Brad's purchase part of his company. I am not sure how much that would be. I think He would own more that Robbie does. That could be a problem.

Another great chapter. I am not sure if I blame Brad or think he's going too far. If I remember in Bloodlines Brad flew up with Matt because of Brian actions and the way Brian treated Matt, Brad and Brad's family. Now in the same room we have act two only this time its worse. Brian has now attacked Brad directly and not only that but his lover Stefan too. Why is JP reacting like this it makes no sense. None at all. Why? There is something more. Something hidden. What has JP done? It has got to be more than $5000. This is more than leadership. It has got to be something more. JP almost lost everything, family, home and lover. Everything. Why? Brian is not a dumb person I am sure he could get a job and make a living without the families help. Is Brian blackmailing JP? I was thinking all JP's secrets were out in the open. What is it?

When is it coming Mark? When? Your public is waiting. We were spoiled over the summer. You wrote Millennium faster than any other story. Thanks for that!

Matt, Wade or later Will. What about truly evil Brian?

Chapter 39 was one of the best chapters ever. It was great on so many levels. We got to see the new stronger improved Brad. We saw Brad and Robbie more solid, more loving more caring that ever. We got to see Will and Brad for the first time interacting being father and son. We got to see how strong their relationship is. How they can read each other minds. Then we got to see Brad and JP. They have been pushing each other for over twenty years. I believe they have both grown because of it. At first I thought maybe Brad has gone to far. But no. That is what they do. Their bond is stronger more solid than that. This is the reason we came back again and again, These guys, these characters are more than just words on a page. They are people we would like to know, People we could be friends with even people we love. There are two things that make this saga great. These characters their passion for life and love of each other. The second is family. JP or Brad never thought they would have a family. They did not go out to build one. But now neither of them could live with out their families. This family these people are not the normal family that the world thinks of. No but they work, they love, they care and they would fight for each other. It shows us that no matter who we are we can build a family too. I think Mark never thought that this story about a lonely shy college grad student could become what it is today. Certianly, It took a great writer to work the magic. Mark you did it. That's why we wait for the next chapter. Hoping it will be there.

I was sad by Drew's leaving but Mark often has characters leave and return later. Max and Brian are two I think of. I hope he comes back.

I guess I don't understand JP's reaction to all this. How can Brian be a mass murderer and someone who should be saved? I am also surprised that Brad pulled out all the stops on this one. He was pretty hard on JP. JP has made mistakes in the past but nobody is perfect not Brad, Stef or JP. Hopefully, after the dust settles things will work out. Maybe this was the only way to get JP back on track. The love and respect both Brad and JP have for each other should bring them together hopefully. Mark if Brad and Robbie are positive this is not going to be your happy ending.

Is there a little bit of Brad in George? Both save 16 yos.

Maybe have Brian kidnapped and spend the rest of his life with Aaron. I think Aunt Alex punishing him would be much more fun.

When a person has been told for so many years now bad this person is ( Brad) I can't see you would welcome them with open arms. However, I think Mike is not a bad guy, I have a feeling that he may warm up to Brad. I am waiting for the meeting Brad with his step brother and step mother. Dragon lady? The idea of Brian going down for the last time will be interesting too. JP maybe not as much hurt as mad. Remember Brian has attacked his family. The unforgiveable sin. Others who have done this ended up dead!

It is interesting how all this is working together. I have a feeling that Mike was taken back somewhat also seeing A person who looks just like his father walk in the door. I am hoping that after the shock maybe Brad and Mike could have some kind of relationship. I can also see Brad enlist Wade's father in this battle. Aunt Alex is into defense contracts some thing the Senator could use against her.
