I think Tiger is right. Brian. Lark, Whist the unholy trinity. Stef's personal assistant is the plant ratting out the good guys. The dot com fall will do them all in. Better yet Amphion will save Stef from losing a lot of money. I hope they will all get the same cell in prison.

The idea of Brad having sex with Matt was unbelievable before Robbie's bonehead idea. However if Wade and Matt help Brad out I am not sure that would be that bad. Mark always creates a story which where the unbelievable can happen. Brad's reaction to this sitution was exactly as I would have guessed. It shows the skill of a great writer and his team . I believe all of us are waiting for the next chapter. Could Millennium be even better than Bloodlines? I think that would be the highest praise. Thank you again Mark. You are the best!!

After reading chapter 2 and 3, I can see that Brad is very hurt. He is mad. Robbie opened this door and I think he will regret it. Robbie may have been looking for his lost youth but Brad was a faithful partner. Brad may have thought about these guys but never done anything. Brad is a lot stronger and has Stef and JP. He is also the heir, the crown prince. Robbie is much more unstable. The Hayes family does not have a good track record. Who is out to get the Family? I think the informant is Stef's assistant ( not the first time). I also think Lark could be the head. Lark works in the market and could be using funds from accounts in his care. Using the raising tech market to cover his tracks. If the market goes down he will lose everything and be found out.

Fictional Story, I thought these guya were real. The Hayes family was not a good track record. Remember Robbie's reaction when Matt was sick. Brad is a much stronger person than Robbie. Remember way baxk in high school Robbie went out with others to make Brad jealous. It made Brad mad. I am hoping Robbie will understand what he has in Brad. We all know Brad is the best. One thing I know Brad is a survivor. I am not sure if Robbie is.

Mark never seems happy to let couples alone. After everything Robbie and Brad have been through (Neal) I would hope they could live happily ever after. Not in the CAP world I guess, I believe Brad conciders Matt as his step son. It would also upset a number of relationships. Matt and Wade, Isidore and Frank, Stef and JP. I believe that it would be hard on Darius JJ and Will. That is the reason It would not happen. Above all Brad will protect his kids. I think this would only hurt them. Could it happen if Robbie and Brad broke up yes maybe. Would it happen no. It would be like Brad sleeping with Stef and JP. It would be against everything Brad believes in. As for Matt and JP Their relationship is stronger than just Robbie's son. Matt is a Hayes Jeff's family. JP sided with Matt over his own half brother (Brian). JP also believes in forgiveness. I think the ties are to close to break.

Over the last 20 chapters I have grown to love Steven a lot. When the guys open the Box for the first time none of them knew that they would find. Maybe JP knew a little about the man who was Stef's father. As we hear Stef read the pages we have grown to love Steven, Aaron and Nathan even Jim after a while. As the chapter posted I hope that maybe Aaron and Steven would be living together. But that was not meant to be. Steve was too much the honorable man to run away. It is even now hard to be mad a Aaron. He just wasn't a strong as Steven. In the end , Mark was right and gave us a man, a father a friend to be proud of. Stef got to know his father better than most sons do. And we got a lot of answers to some questions which have been out there. Then I saw the final chapter I was almost afraid to read it. I am glad I did. Thanks again Mark, another awesome ending to a great story.

It seems like a lot of us are hoping maybe against hope that Steven and Aaron are living together all these years. Why Steve didn't contact Stef I don't know. Maybe for fear of imprisonment. Maybe he contacted Stefan's mom and gave her money. Even though Aaron and Steven can't return to the US can you imagine the reunion. A ending worthy of Mark. On another tone I think Stef was born on Bastille Day. JP always has a party on the day and Stef is always there. No day would be better. One more chapter to tie the loose end together. I can't wait.

Thanks to the Box I understand JP better. The Box show us a cute shy 5-6 yo who cares about people, He sees something in Steven and Steven sees something in JP. Gaydar at Six is a little much but they understand each other. Steve tells JP he can't tell anybody he is (JP) except one person Steve's mother Tonto. If Steve would have lived and come baqck home he would have guided JP. Maybe the 26yo would not have became the Ice Man. It took many years to melt that ice. Anbd what is strange Steven's Son to do it. Happy Birthday JP may you have many more!

Mark what do you have planned for this last chapter? Did they have a preplaned escape? Was the Last part of the diary written in code? Will the guys find both of them there on the island? Tomorrow is JP's birthday 74. Happy Birthday JP! Thanks again Mark for making these guys so real and loveable. Do we know Stephs birthday yet?

I think, I hope you are right. Mark did not write about Tonto's funeral. Could Arron and Steve have returned for it. Maybe placed the box back in the house later. Stefan was so surprised that it was in the attic. It would be wonderful if they were still alive. I'd almost forgive him for killing off Jeff. Only two more chapters. It's summer in 1999 a lot of time to search for them.

It seems like Brad knew he was gay as a kid. Steven, Stefan father and son. Jeff and Marcel father and son. A pattern. Steve may feel guilty but he shouldn't. He has done a good thing it is too bad Steven didn't came back. If he would have JP would have had a much easier time. Thank God for Tonto. Hopefully this does not upset Stef and JP's relationship. Mark wouldn't do that would he. More Drama. Are there more secrets hiding?

After rereading the Box, why is JP so upset about Steve's diary. What if Steve and JP had a talk abouting being gay. JP is not the normal 7 year old. He may know that Steven is gay and feel that he is too. Steve becomes hjs mentor guiding him. Not having sex but advising him.

Tonto's letter to Steven talks about secrets. Aaron and Steve could have lived and be in hiding all these years. Would Mark do that to us? Would he? As for Jeff being alive that is a different matter. To much to ask. Who was in the coffin? He fooled JP at the time. JP is very hard to fool. If Jeff was alive what would that do to JP and Stef? If Steven and Arron were alive that would be different.

JJ is Jim's son with Bitty. Nick and Bitty were Billy's kids.

I think you are right. What if Aaron's home was happy but poor. What if Aaron loved Fred Hayes. Maybe Fred enlisted in WW I. Part of Aaron's desire to enlist is to live up to the image of his father. Fred saw men get killed, gased, injured. He wanted to protect his oldest son. It not because he hated Aaron but because he loved him so much . Why was Aaron not talked about? Maybe it was too painful. Maybe the pain caused Fred to drink and became abusive. Aaron death cause a lot of pain in the Hayes family. I talked to my friend Tom who was 9 in 1941. He said many young guys during that time were mad about the attack on Pearl Harbor. They enlisted in droves. I think we have been too hard on Aaron is he only 17. He loves his country and young guys think they are immortal. Sadly he was wrong.

I am not sure why Aaron wants to enlist so bad. Maybe its just getting out of that house and away from his father. My feeling for Steve however, only continues to grow. He is a good friend, lover and partner. He is willing to sacrifice himself and his happiness for Aaron. That is something some people never learn. Steven at 17 has learned it. It will cause him great sadness in his short life. Stefan can be truly proud of his father. Something is still hidden in the background, JP knows what it is. We will just have it wait. Waiting to so hard sometimes.

Reading the last chapter you have the feeling that Steve knows what will happen. His love for Aaron and his promise almost forces him to enlist. It is sad. very sad. You almost hope that something would or could change history and he and Aaron are living someplace in southern France or Canada.

I hate to say but as you grow older your idea of age changes. I remember when I thought 40 was old age. I don't any more.

If I remember correctly Aaron died first and Steve died at the end of the war. I love what Mark is doing with the Box in the last Chapter (10) both a story from 1940's and a story line from 1999. I have grown to love Steve but I miss the guys a lot. I hate to say this but I check Mark's site twice a day for a new chapter. Who couldn't love them. When someone started a form about how the CAP saga should end. I was tempted the shout NEVER. It should never end. Some things are too good to end. Let's see Mark is 40 something 60 more years of writing. Matt a grandfather!

It is said that a truly great author uses his own feelings to bring his writing to life Mark you have done that beyond belief. As for you being like Brad. I think Brad is a wonderful person too. It is strange that even though JP and Brad don't see eye to eye all the time they both have many of the same goals, and will defend the family to the death. They make great friends but don't get on their bad side.

Never having met Mark and only knowing him through the story and this form I now can understand him better. Hopefully he wouldn't be upset with me for this but after reading On the Mark, I see a lot of Mark in JP. Over time I have learned to love JP. So looking for love, so needed it and having a hard time to let love in. Mark I am not saying you have that problem. Just last week and very dear friend of mine died. I have been trying to reconnect with him for years and have not been able too. Many times we let the years past and don't go the extra mile for people we care about until it is too late. That is JP and Jeff.

This last chapter brought two stories one the present 1999 which just begins to question who (it must be Brian) is trying to ruin Stephan business plans and Steven and the War. By the way wasn't Tonto's letter found in top of the journal in the Box? She must have read the journal, because she said she would keep his secrets as he kept hers. And I also remember that there are letters in the box too. One of the things Mark does the best is bring those people to life, if you guys are like me you are liking Steven more and more. Still some deep dark secret is hidden in those pages. Some thing between JP and Steven. One more thing, why was Aaron forgot about? Tonto honored Steven's memory. But Aaron forgotten about by the Hayes family. Was he not a war hero? Were they not both war heroes?

Oh God! The war! It begins. The sad thing is we know the end. It is the reason I hate biographies, you grow it love the person and then they die on you. Only this time its both Steven and Aaron, two with one war Mark. On another vain I think something very interesting will happen with JP. Its the reason he is to uneasy during the reading.

Thank God George has comfort. I think Jervis really likes George. We must remember George is a very young Captain. Thanks for giving George another lover I don't think he could survive without one for long. It"s not in his nature. he needs physical love. Maybe Freddie is the one that will last. I hope so. Together they are so cute.

Jeff, the Jeff who comes through the bedroom slide glass patio door and brings JP love. It's that Jeff. I believe Jeff brought JP out of his shell and helped him to love. Of all JP lovers maybe Jeff came the closest to total happiness. Only Stef comes the closest. I have a person in my life who reminds me of Jeff. His problem isn't drugs but drink, hopefully not with the same end. That part isn't written yet.
