  1. I'm very disappointed I was really looking forward to it. I had plans to take over Arizona while a friend took over Alaska and then we were going to join together to topple California.
  2. Family Guy has always gotten really old really quickly for me. Small doses are okay, but too much and it's just horrible. American Dad is hilarious, I LOVE that show. The Cleveland Show though sucks. I can't believe he does it, honestly, because it's really bad. Worse than the Joe spinoff after Friends ended kind of bad. I'd like for him to leave Fox, because he's pretty damn hilarious and I think he could have more freedom (and be more adult-oriented) if he would hop ship over to Comedy Central. A lot of the shows they've tried to throw out alongside South Park have bombed (that stupid reality tv show cartoon ripoff, workaholics, and now tosh.0 has gotten pretty crappy), though I must admit Ugly Americans is pretty awesome. If he did though, I think he could be awesome writing Futurama or something new. That could either be amazing or suck.
  3. Thanks everyone. =) It was a pretty good day overall, besides the white mocha + monster combo. It did not sit well. xD Thanks again. <3
  4. God I love that song, haha. If anyone still wonders why she inspires me (or anyone for that matter), read Mattie's post.
  5. I can understand wanting to force your child to conform as to better their future, but at the same time you're enabling something you may not believe in. If you just do what may be best for their future, or what will give them the most friends, you're just helping in continue that conformity and that mistreatment of people that are brave enough to do what makes them happy rather than what makes them popular or accepted. As for myself, when I was younger I would play barbies with two of my cousins. My mom never seemed to care much though. That might be because I also road dirt bikes, played basketball, and slammed my older brother's head into a concrete wall. So yes, I would allow my kids (that I will never have) to play with barbies.
  6. I agree. That being said, they didn't manage to make it a good song...also, it was Saturday in the episode...
  7. Something more like ? I mean, I agree sort of. I've never really considered it a gay anthem personally, not anymore than I consider Katy Perry's Fireworks a gay anthem, but stuff like that just isn't Gaga. I rather liked the little story she had in the video, it was a nice introduction to the song in my opinion.
  8. I did. It's not that hard for someone to inspire me. She makes a lot of Little Monsters lives better; she made my life better. I'm far more okay with who I am thanks to her. Yes, by the way, she's really big in gay rights. She was also part of the artists for Japan charity. There are probably more you could find through google or her wikipedia page. Her own personal ascension has inspired me, and she taught me to be who I am (as I already stated). Just a question though, since when do people need justification for their inspiration? That's actually where she got her name, from Radio Ga Ga.
  9. 30...I agree it is a state of mind, but my mind is telling me I don't want to live to turn 30. I've thought long and hard about how, if I'm still alive at 29 that is, I want to die. For the longest time I had decided air embolism, but then I found out it's a myth that it will kill you instantly...So I'm back to square one.
  10. ITT Judas music video. It was premiered on E! News last night, along with an interview with Mother Monster herself. I think it was also played later on American Idol:
  11. ^raw talent. She inspires me, therefore she is inspirational. No delusion.
  12. Yes, she inspires me...and that's coming from someone that otherwise hates pop music, dance music, techno music, and all that other crap. It's really easy to look at the surface of her music or her videos and say "oh, she's just putting on a mask" or "it's just a shock factor" I follow her on twitter, facebook, and every other thing she's on, I've watched and continue to watch every Gagavision video, and I've gotten to really know my Mother Monster. I've watched her cry for the sole reason that she fears she's letting her fans down. To see her at the Monster Ball is amazing, you really see how much she cares for her fans. How much she went through to put on that show multiple nights in a row. How engaging she is with them (there is a reason her concerts have been rated some of the greatest ever). It's not "church baiting" though i can see how you could come to that conclusion when you don't actually listen to the song or try and understand it. She's taking a representation that many people recognize and using it as way of portraying a story. It's a common thing in not only music, but literature, art, tv, movies, really anything. It's not an attack on the church, it's the church getting their poor little panties in a bunch because God forbid anyone use their beliefs in any way other than complete and utter devotion. Also, the video was NOT released over the Easter holiday, it's being released this week. Nor does the timing of a stupid holiday matter at all if you ask me, especially considering the Pagans could easily bash the Catholics for just happening to put their precious holiday right around the same time as their Easter festivals. POT, MEET KETTLE. Will history remember Lady Gaga? Probably, for a while, just like it remembers Madonna, Cher, and others (personally, I don't like either of them). Eventually, just like everyone, she'll be forgotten. Anyone who is inspired by her will consider her an idol. Just like anyone who is inspired by John Legend will consider him an idol. It doesn't matter who inspires you, as long as you're inspired. And as long as Lady Gaga inspires people, even if others don't like her or don't care for her or aren't inspired by her, she's worth sticking around. At the end of the day, what do her personal motives matter? Who cares if she's just trying to get rich (which, she already is by the way, there's really no need for her to continue if that's all she wanted)? It doesn't matter because at the end of the day... ...SHE MAKES PEOPLE'S LIVES BETTER And that is enough for her to be an inspiration for me.
  13. If you don't want to know something that may or may not happen in one of the next few episodes of Glee STOP READING NOW. Don't blame me if you open the Spoiler tag.
  14. April Fools I hope? I can't wait for graduate school. =X
  15. Does it have to be a literal deafness or can it be figurative?
  16. I accept your challenge. ...if it's not too late, that is.
  17. I first knew I was born to teach at around age seven. My favorite game to play as a kid was 'School'; I knew I was different when no one else ever wanted to play. ...Oh wait, we're talking about being gay. I started looking at porn when I was about 12. I would always watch straight porn though so I could deny the truth to myself (I'm looking at the girl, not the guy kind of stuff). I continued to deny it to myself until around sophomore year(ish). Somewhere around then.
  18. So am I to understand spray-on abs is also a requirement? Being an 'Alpha Male' as it is accepted in this day and age is all about being that douchebag that secretly everyone hates. The important thing is to note the difference between Alpha and macho. Matt is, sure, quite masculine, macho, and a little egotistical. But Alpha? No, just the fact that he's in a relationship knocks him out of that ballpark. Take lions for example: the alpha does nothing but bang the chicks. The other males want to dethrone him constantly and loathe him (and will loathe anyone that surpasses him). You don't want to be an Alpha, they always end up bald and usually alcoholics. You want to be an Omega; they're the ones that get the happy ending. P.S. - Cheating on your girlfriend? You've got some Alpha in those jeans*, my friend! *intended
  19. Greatest band ever.
  20. I loved that song! XD What other reason besides that song would there be to watch that movie?
  21. Baby It's Cold Outside - Glee version (originally Frank Loesser)

    Glee

I went to the tour they had after the first season. It was pretty awesome. But VIP?!?...if you meet Chris Colfer I will be forever jealous.
  23. The unedited version is even better, adds a bit of power to the song. On topic, just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's terrible. A true music lover should be capable of admitting, while not particularly liking the music of say, Lady Gaga, her voice was created for the purpose of music and her lyrics are catchy. Plus, She was born this way, baby!
  24. I'll just say this...this would be a very good night for me; a very, very good night:
  25. Rizan

    Glee

<Spoiler Alert> I feel it's very necessary to venture to this forum of which I rarely post and revive this dead thread, in order to announce to everyone that I have watched the scene with Kurt and Blaine at least thirty times since last night. It was amazing. AMAZING. I think I'll go watch it again. </Spoiler Alert>
