  1. At least you're still on the radar, Chase. ;-;
  2. I'd just like to point out that this is not Final Fantasy XV. This is called Agni's Philosophy and it's just a tech demo to show what they're capable of on next gen consoles. There has been no announcement or teaser at Final Fantasy XV. Don't expect one until after Lightning Returns and Vesus XIII are released, since they're taking the bulk of the production time right now (that and the re-release of XIV.) Personally I'm excited for Versus XIII, and I was excited for Lightning Returns until I saw the trailer.
  3. I'm happy to learn I'm not the only one who feels this. I don't fear falling, I fear the desire to jump that I get when I'm high up. It's not suicidal or anything, I just have an innate urge to leap. Maybe we were meant to be birds and something just got f'ed up along the way. My biggest fear is probably becoming an astronaut, spending time at the ISS, and while there watching a giant meteor strike earth and wipe out all human life, then have to just sit there for days staring at the dead planet I once inhabited until I wither and eventually die painfully. Yeah, far-fetched I know, but you asked.
  4. Umm...I wear walmart brand boxer briefs... More specifically, I wear the camo walmart boxer briefs. Because I'm cool like that.
  5. Bleach the entire shirt. <.<
  6. I just can't believe it, there is NO WAY George Takei and Chris Colfer are gay.
  7. Thanks everyone. Spent the day watching other people get drunk.
  8. Just another reason everyone should read Wicked. I believe in the original story (I know it happens in Wicked) Glinda does rule for a short time before she hands it over to the Scarecrow, so it fits. As well as Out of Oz. To be honest though, I think the musical destroyed the book. I loved the musical, but it turned the story commercial. The book had a lot more depth, greater character development, and a better ending.
  9. I was wondering what the message was (didn't get the email). Naturally, I'm shivering in my boots. Super serial guys, I'm so scared some misguided tween will be able to track my GA email back to mitt@mittromney.com
  10. I think watching Dale die, and even more, watching Dale die because of something HE did, will change Carl for the better. He seemed pretty freaked out especially when he saw it was the same walker. It's definitely a welcome change from him actually wanting to watch Randall die. I really, really, really, really want Shane to die. I'm glad Andrea is finally starting to move away from him. She's my favorite character so I don't want to see her getting herself killed.
  11. Yeah, Lace cheated.
  12. Le Happy Birthday
  13. Few months old and it's already surpassed its masters.
  14. I refuse to accept the belief that life continues beyond 30. Everyone knows that on the night of your 30th birthday men in black coats come to take you away and replace you with the dysfunctional automatons we call Old People.
  15. Well, first I would like to start with: you put your reply inside of the quotation. Second, yes: this is a place for discussion, where you can state your own personal beliefs or ideas. MY personal belief, for example, is that expecting a comedic television show to show every side of every human that's ever existed so that you don't get your panties in a bunch is dumb. That's my idea. Comedic relief? You understand that the show is a comedy, right? ALL OF THE CHARACTERS ARE THERE FOR COMEDIC RELIEF. THEY ARE DESIGNED TO BE FUNNY; THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT. There are plenty of movies and TV shows that present the "diversity" of the gay community. Tonight's Glee episode, for example (which I have yet to watch), will introduce a new gay character that is pretty much a stereotypical jock straight guy, the only difference being he likes penis. There was also Karofsky, who is not only very straight acting but represents a huge part of the gay community: the homophobes that can't admit their sexuality to themselves yet. There's also a fantastic show on Showtimes called Shameless, which is based on the original UK version of the same name. In that show there are four different gay characters (thus far). You have the ginger, who is in ROTC; there's his arch-nemesis turned lover, who is nothing like the stereotypical bottom; the Muslim man who owns the gas station; and the slutty girl that has sex with everything that moves including her boyfriend's father. That's just two shows right off the top of my head that have many different gay characters with different personalities that rarely if ever meet the stereotype. You're just either not looking hard enough, or are only paying attention to the ones that do meet the stereotype, in which case you're just as guilty as hollywood.
  16. It's not really the look that incites humor, it's more the look attached with attitude and speech/voice. It may be pretty cheap humor, but strong bulky guy with an effeminate voice always gets laughs. I don't know if you're joking or not so I don't want to point out that fat, drunk, and stupid is the stereotype of STRAIGHT men; fit, bitch-beer drinking (wine coolers, smirnoff ice, etc.), and cultured is the stereotype for gay men. I guess I pointed it out anyway.
  17. So you're only okay with a gay person being in a TV show if it's either the exact opposite of the stereotype or has both the stereotype and its exact opposite? That's dumb. It's not the writer's job to portray every single type of human being that exists in the world just so you don't feel butthurt or misrepresented. It's the writer's job to entertain and make money. Effeminate gays are great for comedy because they're hilarious. You know what's even funnier though? Effeminate gays who are also bulky, strong, and physically masculine.
  18. I think I'll take either the drunk one or the dumb one. Not the ones you have pictured though.
  19. I thought it was okay, it wasn't great but it wasn't all that bad. I liked the number Kurt and Rachel did together. We've known Sam (Chord) wouldn't be coming back for a while now. They didn't offer him a part on the main cast like they did Darren just a guest spot for 10 episodes, so he said no. I'll continue watching the show until my four favorite characters are gone (Rachel, Kurt, Brittany, and Santana). At least Kurt and Rachel will be gone after this season, possibly Santana. I seriously doubt Brittany's character will ever graduate so I'm probably in it for the long haul.
  20. One word: Pottermore.
  21. Best post on this thread. +1
  22. I forgot about Zim! That compares to Rugrats as well. ! Spongebob and Ed, Edd, and Eddy ROCK!@
  23. Blasphemy! The only cartoons that can compare to Rugrats: -Rocko's Modern Life -Ed, Edd, and Eddy (a classic) -Spongebob -CatDog
  24. I'm disappointed. Why? Because nearly all of the greatest cartoons ever created were mentioned in the article but one. It just so happens to be the greatest cartoon ever. Rugrats. Greatest. Cartoon. Ever.

    Glee

Regarding the finale... ...I saw the Wicked board, and I was like they're going to do another Wicked number. ...Then Chris(Kurt) and Lea(Rachel) were on the stage, and I was like they're going to do another Wicked number. ...Then they started singing For Good, and I was like... OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD THEY'RE DOING ANOTHER WICKED NUMBER. *SHRIEKS*
