  1. Love the story ~ enjoying is so much. Coop has made his decision, now Chase needs to man-up and do the same. He can't be committed to both men. And Kyle, what a great character, deep-feeling, but self-serving. I really appreciate these imperfect people, and a Dad who loves his children so much. Another great chapter. Thank you

    Chapter 1

Oh my goodness, what an absolutely lovely stories, it was wonderful. I can completely picture the scene and feel invested in the characters......so much so, that I REALLY didn't want it to end. As a reader, I wanted to spend much more time with this family:) Thanks So Much

    Chapter 24

Wonderful story, excellent writing. The readers just looses themselves in the story. I feel so invested in their lives and future, I so hope we get to peak into their future and see how they work through life's obstacles, grow and mature. Thanks!!
  4. Thank you so much for the update - I was so afraid that...... well, never mind. It's really a beautiful thing to watch 2 people be able to grow and change and move in a forward direction because of the love and support and interest of another. Both men so broken, so in need of validation and to be taken-as-you-are. It seems as though they are one of those couples who are simply better as a pair, than apart, they gain from the other something that is missing without that person. It's really nice to see Blake be able to help Haze so much! But Haze's Mom - "might have to put a stop to his diving" - seemingly irregardless of what he might want?! She's really a piece of work! Thank You So Much!

    Chapter 25

Love the story, sooo glad to see the update, and to see Tom come around, loosen his shell, letting life (and Kit) into his broken world - beautiful! Thank You
  6. Powerful story, glad to see the were able to re-establish their connection, do away with the hurt and that Jay was able to forgive. Gotta wonder about Scott not wanting to come between Jay and Jack though, seems that after this step of intimacy, that Jay's relationship with Jack with be impacted, likely not for the better.

    Chapter 23

Eagerly looking forward to part 2. Totally enjoyed part one (wouldn't mind longer chapter - which would allow us a little more time with the guys. Thanks for the story, so enjoyable and witty.
  8. Well.....really good chapter, I say anxiously. Every relationship has things to work through and it's the process, which won't be done perfectly, that can bind the couple together, build their relationship.....or not. I guess we'll have to wait to see how they work through this. But Peter was so uncharacteristically self-focused in this chapter, and those things happen, especially after a trauma like he went through. But I'm optimistic, Jason seems to be able to navigate through difficult experiences in a positive way. I hope I'm not just wishful thinking:) If they don't end up together then I could only imagine it being because Peter isn't in a good place, is still very traumatized emotionally, because when he's whole, when he's in a good place, he looks out for what's best for Jason, they move in a forward direction. It's not like they're the kind of couple who are ultimately better apart, and it's actually good (yet sad) that things didn't work out. With these two, it seems that it would just be sad if they weren't together. But I'll stay optimistic and try to banish the disquieting feelings that arose during this chapter. Great job!
  9. Really enjoyed the chapter. I like the descriptions that give us a "picture" of how the characters feel. For example: Peter didn't sound too annoyed, though he also didn't look happy He appeared indifferent to the conversation, but Jason knew he was listening. Jason scanned her face to see what her motivation was for asking. Did she feel left out, worried she was being cut out? Was this going to affect his and her relationship? I like how the reader can "hear" the different voices of the different characters. Like Pop in the garage and the "awkward" here, I feel like I can hear her tone. "Ah, forgot you missed last night." She smiled at him then, Peter. "Awkward!" Witty/funny: His, 'you aren't going to know what I think,' face was firmly in place. "What a Hallmark Holiday moment." Uncle Ray rolled his eyes, before draining the last of his drink. I liked how you referred back to this because that's exactly what would have happened in real life: "So that's the infamous shower room." Peter was staring at the cabana beside the pool. A nervous laugh slipped out. Although not how he wanted the conversation to start, it told him volumes about what Pete was thinking. Also added authenticity: "Oh." Jason could feel his face flush. Pop would have seen their kiss. These made me smile: He was about to protest his being, 'modest,' but all he could focus on was 'love you so much.' Peter slid his hand onto Jason's leg, squeezing it softly until Jason covered it with his own. Thank You
  10. Loved this chapter - the writing was so witty: Jason let out his breath when they separated. "Doesn't really matter." Was that for him or the people in the other car? Probably him, he decided. "That's the gayest thing you've ever said. There's hope for you yet." Was this a joke, or was he serious? "KJ, this is my friend Peter." He and Peter agreed they would not announce their status as boyfriends to the younger cousins and were going with, 'friend' as an introduction. "Pete, this is my cousin Keith." "Hey, Keith." Peter gave him a small wave with his free hand. "Are you Jason's boyfriend?" Really great details/accenting of a point: "Best day ever." "Rather than look at Jason, he stared out the window." And I could so identify with the self-talk and reasoning-in-his-mind, that Jason was doing when Peter was being difficult. Sometimes, even when someone is unjust or unthinking, someone you care about, you just have to let it go, sometimes to acquiesce is the best choice. Closing his eyes for a moment he took a deep breath. Getting irritated wasn't going to make it easier to survive the holiday. It also wouldn't help Peter deal with his problems. f**k, why did he walk away like a spoiled child again? Didn't really matter why, he shouldn't have done it. So much for being understanding. "It's okay, Pete." It really wasn't, but he didn't want to fight about it. Really enjoyed the whole scene when Peter met the family. Families are so funny: Peter's bemused look only intensified when he turned to see the agonized face Jason made. Michele knew everything about him. God only knew what embarrassing things she would tell Peter. "Yes," Peter said dramatically, glaring at Jason for effect. "We certainly do." "My dear Peter, where have you been my whole life." She stepped closer, put both hands on his face and kissed his cheek. Looking over at the smiling Raymond, she added, "Not that you have anything on Ray." Thanks!
  11. Another great chapter - thank you, it's wonderful that your seeing this story though to it's completion! The characters and story are so interesting, even if they are just engaged in the activities of daily living. I wanted to tell you (although this is from a previous chapter) that the interactions between Peter and his family were very well done - Peter seeking out a relationship with his Dad unbeknowst to his Mom, the animosity between his parents and his Mother and Betsy. And how they were willing to lay those hard feeling down when they came together for Peter's sake. All so well done. Thanks Again!
  12. Love the story, I just found it a week or so ago and I've spent waaay too much time reading, but I just couldn't help it. At the end of each chapter, I'd just want to read a little more, then a bit more, and now I've read all the chapters and the work around my house sits incomplete:)It' just wonderful reading as the guys navigate through life as individuals, as sons and brothers, and as a couple. It's as though they've become friends of the reader.Thank you for devoting your time and talents to this story - much appreciated; and keep 'em coming:)
