Blaine sighed as he shut off the truck in front of Marks house. The trip to the police department had proved to be uninformative. Christian had done exactly what he knew that he would do. He supposedly had an alibi for last night and there wasn’t anything that the police could do. Blaine had started all the paperwork for a restraining order against Christian. When he had asked about Levi getting a restraining order he had been informed that unless Christian had made some sort of threat agai

Simon closed the lid of the laptop, satisfaction coursing through his veins as he realized he was done. Once he’d quit trying to change his characters the story had just flowed, though he was never quite able to shake the guilt at the way he portrayed the vampires in his books. Now that the last of the series was written and sent to his editor he no longer had to struggle through them. A glance at the clock showed him that it was nearly bedtime and he forced himself to head to the bedroom. T

Ch. 6 ~ Full Disclosure
Renee Stevens commented on Renee Stevens's story chapter in Ch. 6 ~ Full Disclosure
Thanks Cia! I really wanted to do something a bit different than most of the stories I've read and I think and hope that I accomplished that. I also want to point out that you've been a ton of help in making this story what it is! -
Happy to hear that you are enjoying the story! Dogs can be a blessing, my two keep me company and are always ready for a snuggle. Though they do have their "tear things apart" phase which mine seem to go in and out of. Maybe once you are out of college you'll be able to get one.

Illusions of the future Never to become reality Time standing utterly still Only to fade into oblivion Things forgotten or abandoned Hidden deep in the darkness Each memory fading fast Unable to be sustained Not being willing to settle Knocking on the door of hope Never realizing the end is near Once again everything crumbles Willing one to start over again Not knowing what’s going to happen.
-
Inside myself I never know Not how or when or why Things twist and turn Over and over again Til the darkness descends Hiding everything from sight Everyday it’s something new Unbeknownst to me the day before Needing to find the answers Kneeling in the darkness Noises surrounding every thought Only one clear path ahead Wishing to be free Never knowing what’s in store

An internal look at feelings and questions for the future.

Blaine awoke with a start, looking around, unaware of his surroundings. It took a minute before he remembered that he was in Levi’s spare bedroom. He was trying to figure out what woke him when he heard the sound of breaking glass. Flying out of bed, Blaine ran out of the bedroom where he ran straight into Levi. “What the hell is going on?” Blaine yelled as they ran for the front door. “Not sure, sounded like glass breaking,” Levi said, throwing open the front door. ”That would be b

“Well, looks like it didn’t take you long to find someone new to sleep with.” Turning towards the voice, Blaine felt his jaw drop open at the figure standing there. “What are you doing here Christian?” “Oh, was just coming to see how your parents were doing,” Christian said spitefully. “You should never have come here Christian,” Blaine said, climbing to his feet, hands fisted at his side. “You have some nerve, especially after what you did!” “What I did? I didn’t do anything to y

Thank you so much for the great review, both in here and in Dark's thread! I will admit that I've played with the idea of creating a sequel where Brent and Alex work through the issues, but that is still undecided as I don't want to take anything away from the original story. This was a hard story to write, very emotional, and I'm so glad that despite the sad story, you were able to look beyond that to the hope and enjoy the story as a whole!

*sigh* I know that I've read this before, but even still, I thought Marc had been shot and I completely forgot about him shooting Mestrick! I loved the scene in the bedroom between Marc and Nat, when Marc finds out that Nat isn't as straight as he thought he was. The final scene, where Nat tells him not to stop kissing him and he'd do anything Marc wanted, that was just classic! With there was more about the beginning of Nat and Marc's relationship though! Thanks for a great read!!!

Poor Marc and yet his first thought is still to get Rylan safe. Looking forward to all of them being safe once Mestrick is taken out. I'm really glad that he thought to unscrew the door from the hinges as it sounds like that was his only way out!! A few typos but otherwise a great read!

Continuing to enjoy the story. I especially like what Nat said about the government and his little chip. I got a chuckle out of the Bubble Yum scene.. I can just picture Marc's entire face being scarlet as Nat noticed it. A few wrong words, but other than that, great story!
-
I've enjoyed this story every time I've read it and this time is no exception. I love how Nat just jumps right in to get things done and the bond you have between Marc and Rylan is incredible. You writing this in 1st person works really well for this story so far as it helps to effectively capture the way Marc is feeling at any one time. Oh, and did I mention.. Preston is a dickwad!

May have reviewed this before but I can't remember. Decided to give it another read and I like it just as much now as I did before. I especially love how in the beginning he is so determined to protect his new camera, no matter what the cost to himself. I also really loved Sean's stubborn streak, the "I can manage just fine"... I know a lot of people like that, me being one of them, that at times refuse to admit that they need help until they have no choice! And as an aside, the picture of the rushing water is awesome!

Poor Rabbie, he really messed up and he doesn't even realize it! It sounds like his clan is in for a very rude awakening and I only can hope that he realizes his folly and tries to correct it. Really enjoying this story so far and enjoy the authentic feel that it has. At first I struggled with the accent, but now that we're 3 chapters into it, it's much easier, probably because I'm used to it by now. Good job Cia and looking forward to the next chapter!

The rest of the day, and the next, were a blur to Blaine. He waited for Monday to come, so he could go and talk to Levi. Going through his regular routine, he berated himself over what had happened in the lake. He hated that he had reacted so irrationally, and wanted to explain it to Levi. He had to make certain that he understood why he behaved like that over a simple kiss. What did Levi think of him? He had to find out. Blaine couldn't get Levi off his mind, and was even losing sleep ov

Chapter 11: Success and Failure
Renee Stevens commented on Tiger's story chapter in Chapter 11: Success and Failure
It's hard to pick a favorite part of this chapter. It seems the bond between Mihai and Pavel is definitely growing and you've really captured how Mihai is willing to put his own life on the line if it means bettering the lives of his people. And the destruction of the nest... well, what more can I say about that! -
I'm loving this story so far! I can't wait to read more about Prince Mihai and Prince Pavel. Also, I'm really interested in knowing what part Konstantin plays throughout this story as I am sure that it's going to be wonderful. I love the depth of feeling that you create in your characters!

Simon gazed around him at what had once been the barren area of the house that had been Richard’s living room. Since moving in a little over a week before, he had added small touches through the house to make it look more lived in. He gave a small smile as his gaze moved to the pictures that now adorned the walls. He hoped that Richard would be home soon, he had left a couple days before to handle a case but hadn’t confided in Simon exactly what the case was about. Simon wasn’t overly worrie

Thanks for the review! I went back and fixed the spot you were talking about. Thanks so much for pointing it out to me. I thought I had gotten all of them, but must have missed that one! Hope you continue to enjoy the story!

Blaine knew that he had been a coward in not being at the camp when Levi got back, but he just didn’t know what to say to the man. He had known that there was an attraction between him and Levi but he had never expected to act on that attraction. His thoughts were jumbled and he didn’t know where to start to organize his thoughts. He looked down to where Ruff trotted at his side and berated himself for running like some scared little girl. “What do you think Ruff; you think we should hea

I agree with you! I love how both of them are so uncertain with where they stand with the other, but at the same time the love between them is apparent to the reader. Kinda makes me think of the "does he, doesn't he" that teenagers go through when they like something.

I really wish I could give you a difinitive answer to your questions, but I can't without giving the rest of the story away, and then what would be the fun of that? All I can really say is that there is plenty more to come for both Richard and Simon and by the time all is said and done, you should have the answers to your questions! And what would a story be without at least a little bit of angst? *grin* Thank you so much for reading and I hope to hear from you again soon!
