Illusions of the Future
Renee Stevens commented on Renee Stevens's story chapter in Illusions of the Future
Thanks for the review Maria... I was in a bit of a dark place when I wrote this poem... Basically just writing out thoughts and then rearranging them into the poem. -
Thank you Maria! I don't usually write much poetry, so I never am really sure on what will come of it! Glad you liked it and that it gave you cause to think!
-
Would I leave my readers on a cliff?? LOL.. Yep, I would and do! I agree with you about the quote! Thanks for the review!
-
Thanks Nephy! Unless I already went in and fixed it, I couldn't find where it was that I called Blaine "Levi".... Yeah, I really really don't like Christian!
-
I know what you mean, I have been worried about that as well. It may be something that I look into a bit more when I start doing the revisions. Thanks Nephy!
-
Thank you Nephy! I hope so too.
-
Thanks Nephy, I wanted to inject at least a little bit of humor into the situation!!

Thank you Cia and Tiger for the mention. I really appreciate it and you both help me out in ways you can't even imagine. So now I guess it's my turn! First and foremost, I want to send a great big thank you to all of those that keep this site running! To Cia~ Well, what can I say. You have been a wonderful friend to me since that first PM I sent you. You've been a wonderful beta/editor, never afraid to be critical of areas in a story that you think needs work (and usually I agree with you!) You've been there really since I started posting on GA. Talking through story ideas with me which is a wonderful help! Without your help, I don't think any of my newer stories would be what they are! If I posted everything that I was thankful to you for, well, this post would be even longer than it's going to be! So I'll simply say, thank you for everything you do not only with stories, but as a trusted friend. To Nephy~ I may not have been talking and visiting with you as long as I have Cia, but I value your friendship and the help you provide me with my stories. You have been there to discuss story lines with me and helped to improve my work. Plus you have been there for me when I just need to vent! To Lugh~ Thank you so much for all of the work you put in to get my hosted page set up. It turned out wonderful and I'm so glad I was able to work with you on it. Since then, you have become a valued friend and I look forward to talking to you and working with you. Bouncing story ideas off each other has been great! And of course for when you tell me "well go write it!" To Tiger~ I want to thank you for being such a wonderful friend. You thank me for being there to listen, but you do the same for me. To Frosty~ Thank you so much for being a great friend, willing to be there to talk out things that are going on and willing to listen to new story ideas and give me your take on it! To KingdombytheSea~ Thank you for all your work on NMH. I promise, I am still working on it, it's just taking a lot longer than I'd hoped! There are so many other people I want to thank that it would take me forever. To all my friends, readers, reviewers, happy point givers, and those who participate in my forum. Thank you to all of you! I count myself lucky to be among so many friends on GA and I look forward to long lasting friendships!

Thanks for the review Nephy and for being honest about what you didn't like, though I am glad that you enjoyed the story as a whole.

Chapter 26: The Dragon Formation
Renee Stevens commented on Tiger's story chapter in Chapter 26: The Dragon Formation
Great chapter Tiger! I loved the whole thing with the dragon, the way you wrote it was really neat! I also like the part with Mihai's parents, though it would have served them right if Mihai had slept with those two out of revenge!!! -
Thanks for the review Nephy! As for getting the name wrong, I've done that a time or two, and you didn't get it completely wrong, Riley is his last name. I love the pup, in my mind he's such a cute little bugger though I don't know his whole story, he refused to tell me why he was out wandering the woods all by himself. Levi... well.. what can I say about Levi... Yep, he is a pushy bugger, but it also shows that he doesn't give up easily. Thanks again!!

I think the hating Christian think is unanimous across the board, at least I hope so... Mark is a friend that everyone should have, but I think that very few actually have someone like that.. maybe close, but he's a treasure (in my mind)... and Blaine... well, his story is going to be a very interesting ride!

Who me? Would I do something like that? *snickers*

Blaine sighed as he walked up the path to Levi’s house, it had been a long day of work and it made it worse that he wasn’t sure what kind of reception he would get from Levi when he got home. It had been three weeks since Michael was caught and ever since Levi had been treating him differently. He had been racking his brain for some kind of explanation, but hadn’t been able to figure it out. Levi had even been working at the clinic later and later and sometimes only made it home in time to go

Slowly opening his eyes, Levi looked around him, the side of his head hurt from where he had been thrown around when the chopper had crashed landed. He tried to move to make sure that nothing had been broken and other than a few aches he felt like there was no major damage. Climbing slowly to his feet, Levi looked around for Blaine only to find that he was no longer in the chopper. Worried about what could be happening, Levi made his way through the wreckage until he had found both Renee and

Derek paced the hallway outside of Blaine’s private room as he waited for Renee to get Levi to the hospital. He really was not looking forward to explaining to Levi exactly what happened, especially his own failure in keeping Blaine safe from Michael. Blaine and Levi had both trusted him and he had let them down. Derek knew that there was nothing that he could say that would lessen the blow for Levi and he also knew that if he were to try it wouldn’t be fair to Levi. He deserved the truth a

Thanks so much for the review and for posting in the forum about the story! And don't worry, you won't have to wait too long between chapters, no more than a week in between, sometimes even less . And yes, you will learn about the meaning behind that convo as soon as Damian knows. Though, unlike us as readers, he doesn't even know that convo took place. Thanks again hon!

Blaine climbed out of bed and padded down the hallway on bare feet. It wasn’t until he saw the closed bathroom door that he remembered that he and Levi were no longer alone. Taking a quick glance down at his naked form, Blaine turned and made a beeline for his and Levi’s room before Derek came out of the bathroom and saw his aroused naked body. As Blaine walked into the room and shut the door, a low laugh came from the bed. “Forgot it’s not just us?” Levi asked softly as he sat up in bed.

Thanks for the Review Pip... The story does not end here, there are actually four more chapters to go. The version you read back in 2007 was probably simply unfinished as I went on a bit of a hiatus.
-
I'm looking forward to reading the expanded version of this tale. You have woven a very interesting story Lugh and made me as a reader really care about your characters. My heart went out to Tine when Bra-Neche had to leave him, though I can't wait to read about once they are back together! Thank you for another wonderful story!

LOL @ the top gun reference. So glad that you are enjoying the story! Look forward to hearing more from you!
-
Thanks for the review Maria! Yeah, now that you put it that way, guess it was a little bit strong on the testosterone. I'm glad that you were able to enjoy it. As for the sweet and tender moments... I'm thinking that I may cover that if I do the spinoff story with Hercules. Thanks again!

“Why the hell didn’t you tell me sooner?” Michael yelled into the phone as he paced around his hotel room. He’d been planning for days what the best way to get to Blaine was and now he had to wait even longer, because the idiotic feds had gotten involved. “I just found out myself, there’s going to be three agents,” the voice on the other end of the phone said. “Where are they going to be stationed at?” “There will be one at the Riley and Turner residence, one at the Branson residence,

As usual, you leave us wanting more! Loved this chapter and love the way you have focused on the bond the two have towards the end. I could feel Bashta's pain after leaving Cavel as well as Cavel's frustration. Another thing, I like how you have showed that Saulle can act the part of friend when needed. So many things to say, but overall, wonderful chapter!
