Maybe I enjoy misleading the reader a little 😉 Consider yourselves warned.

All that bounty and Taggert’s first thought is still that his father will find him. That says everything.

I just love character-led stories. There are no open books here. You have to work them out.

You may be the only person still giving Lewis this much love 😂 Harry absolutely wanted that kiss, but Nottingham may not be done with him yet.

    Chapter 3

Exactly. Even the cougar was dealt with before it had time to become interesting. AI seems determined to give them the safest Wild West imaginable.

    Chapter 2

I'm enjoying the experiment more than the story TBH. Every chapter has me looking for the clues that remind me it wasn't written by a person. It's fascinating.
  7. Miguel may still be my favourite character, but that ending definitely stole the chapter. You do enjoy leaving people in impossible situations 🤣
  8. Miguel is absolute chaos 😂 I don't know whether to applaud his ingenuity or question every hospital security policy. Was good to finally see Caleb get the chance to explain.

That's a very Harry answer. His head agrees with every word you just wrote. Unfortunately, his heart keeps wandering off in a different direction.

Wouldn’t it be great if they just sat down and talked? Darn that James, turning up just as they were about to, with a gluten-free BLT waiting in his bag for Harry.

Harry was an hour late by the time he got to his desk on Monday, and his train left in seven hours. His bag slumped underneath the desk, lumpy and badly packed. The morning had been a mess of fragments: too long sitting on the edge of the bed, then shoving everything in. Not ready. Not organised. Done. Now he slouched at his desk, jumper crooked over a shirt he didn’t remember putting on, collar half-turned, one cuff still unbuttoned. A half-drunk coffee sat cooling beside his laptop. It ta

Aaron has the kid, no kids mentioned with Catherine and Lewis so far. Next chapter is incoming ...

    Chapter 1

I will have to check that out, see if I can be turned.

    Chapter 1

I’ve always found that you can tell when something is written by AI because it has this mix of an 80s sitcom and a Hallmark midday romcom. Seems to be the default setting, which I suppose makes sense because a huge number of people read and watch exactly that sort of thing and probably enjoy it. I don’t personally.

    Chapter 1

I personally find sex scenes very hard (irony) to write, so I don’t. And to be honest, I prefer reading books where you know there was sex, but I don’t need three chapters of it. Nora Phoenix is a great writer, but the sex goes on and on and on and on.

    Chapter 1

This was such a good find for me! A great experiment for sure. And I hope you continue! It's perfectly readable, but it's making sure it hand holds you through every single image and scene, then explains that scene or image to you, then makes sure we absolutely did understand, so explains it again. This is AI trying to be perfect and not trusting the reader. It's also very bland and generic, especially the safe wording throughout the sex, as others have said. Please let it write some more and maybe add in a curveball and see whether it knows what to do with it or just ignores it.

I’ve got a lifetime of personal research on men who don’t know what they want. 😂

    Epilogue

@Mikiesboy you’re right, it’s a shame we don’t have a worm to fix us. Although @weinerdog has already found the first practical problem: world peace would be shit for the job market. 😂 Really enjoyed this one.
  23. I think Taggart knows perfectly well he’s being played. I’m just not sure he cares anymore. Years of discipline and then these two turn up looking like that... good luck, General.
  24. @CincyKris I hate that you’ve got me rooting for the worms now. 🐛

    Chapter 1

I liked how uncomplicated this was. Sometimes it’s nice to read two people who know what they want. Unlike my writing. 😂
