I totally cried during the last scene. Happy Pop's day! The Kevin and Brent drama played out well. It's a shame Button didn't invite them over separately another weekend. Hopefully Kevin doesn't inherit his mom's idiocy. -

This chapter was superb. I didn't think castle intrigue and politics would interest me but boy have you proven me wrong. I'm looking forward to hearing how Josh managed to calm Max down. -
Gah! So much happened this year! Button developed his first crush, a new friend group and what an outstanding young gentleman of character. I really hope he can keep his friendship with Andy. Things will only get harder as the years go by (a bit of foreshadowing perhaps? Middle school is so harsh socially, emotionally and physically.) It's amazing that all of Button's work and the early intervention has him playing pee-wee hockey and doing well. Not just playing because everyone gets to play, the kid is killing it. I'm also enjoying the small glimpses we get of Kevin each chapter. I have hope for that boy's character development yet.

Wahoo! A new chapter and some buildup for the boys to meet. I can't wait until they all come together to kick some evil-do-er ass.

I agree with gene. The pace is a bit frustrating. I want to get to the meat of the plot. We haven't learned anything yet.

I'm eager to see what the fallout from Button's retaliation with the bullies is. Hopefully it turns out alright. I was rooting for him. It broke my heart when their grandma fell off the wagon again. Her pain runs deep. Great chapter and I'm looking forward to next week.

I know that there's probably a reason for the fact that Jed didn't claim Buzz but it doesn't make sense to me. Buzz is still technically on the run and if they prove his True Mate status now it will be less of a problem later on down the line. Great chapter though. The oral was really hot. I love the pup and I'm so happy they're going to change his name. I really hope he gets to stay with the Timber Pack. He's so cute and he already loves Colton and Parker. It would be icing on the cake if he's going to grow into an alpha as well.

Well, one more pack member. Hopefully the boys can socialize him. They need to give him a new name also. Poor boy.

Buttons skills were incredible there. He handled that stress better than most of the teenagers I work with. I'd really like to see this storyline developed in the future. Maybe not immediately but perhaps in highschool. Most boys grow out of the terrible teasing that happens in upper grade school and middle school. Perhaps Kevin is one of them. -
Thank you for writing this very realistically. I enjoy your insight into IEPs and how Button's prenatal history changed him. I'm glad his grandma is getting help and it's about time Sarah came to the household. I don't think Button will ever be a superstar athlete, but I'm still hopeful that he'll be able to live a mostly normal life with the early intervention he's had. As for the bully, I hope that Button's dads can stop themselves from going angry papa-bear on them and the bully learns something.

You are so evil. We didn't see Aimee's death at all. Hopefully Andy gets his miracle cure. Button seems to be getting better and better. I hope that things continue to improve for him.

Oh god. I'm already crying because of Andy next chapter. It seems that early trauma is making Button's life a little bit harder but hopefully his family and some therapy or counseling will be able to help him learn skills and live a full life.

I hope that Josh understands if he ever finds out that Max was "encouraged" to be his friend. I feel that they will be able to form an enduring friendship. -
