And here is the beginning of that first crisis. I wonder what is going to happen?
Bart is really intriguing too. I hope he has a larger part to play in this story.
Dear DK,
I love all of your stories. You're killing me with the many stories in the air. I want you to update all of them!
As for Tests of Blood, I find the characters very compelling and the way magic works in this world is fascinating. I can't wait to read more. I'm sure we'll learn more about magic, politics and political plots in future chapters.
I'm very glad that you wrote this. This is a very serious topic and it was heroic of you to post about rape, suicide and LGBTQ adolescents.
Thanks for the background. My heart broke for Dylan and I hope he can have happiness.
Things are going to move along as quick as I thought they would with CJ and Mattie's family. I'm glad that they have all of their bases covered and I bet that their uncle is going to spend a bit of time in jail. He sounds like a real asshole.
At first I wasn't that interested in Dylan's interlude, but now I can't wait. The hint you gave us this chapter about a difficult past makes it seem like the ranch is a perfect place for him to heal. Great chapter! I've never been happy that the Pats won before
I'm glad Zak's Dad didn't cheat on his mom. It was a pretty good resolution to Danny's relation to Zak.
I see CJ and Danny's relationship becoming a problem with CJ and Mattie's parents. I hope things work out but I doubt they will right away
You lost me. You're an incredible writer and I enjoyed the story up until here but I can't get past Ron's behavior and Harry's refusal to work to fix it. Harry should have worked harder once Seamus helped him figure out why Ron is so angry.
I'm on the fence about Harry's view on muggles. I don't believe he'd think that way because his own mother was muggle born. Then there's the whole fact that Voldemort himself (and Snape) are half bloods.
A more realistic interpretation would be additional schools based solely on ability and if it is turned into pure blood only then Dumbledore and most of the current staff would leave to the other school. Who would teach at the new Hogwarts?
While I'm happy that you added more depth to Harry and Snape's reconciliation I'm worried about the Ron foreshadowing. Hopefully you don't have Ron do something entirely out of character. It would put me off from the rest of the story. If there is a lot of OOC in this story you should have a warning in the description.
I think that Harry's reaction to Snape's new roll in his life needs a bit more rehashing. Snape has still been an asshole to him and he hasn't shared how he really feels about Lily.
Aside from that I'm really enjoying your take on the 6th year.
I'm so incredibly happy that Cal and Chris were able to have a family together. This was a great snapshot of what their lives as a family are like. Thank you for writing it for us.
Heh. Kudos to the reviewers who called it earlier. I love how every character seems to be connected in some way. It's amazing that Angel "knew" that Danny and Zak were related and amazing with horses.
This chapter flowed relatively well and I'm glad that we finally got to Danny's appearance. I can't wait to find out more next Friday!
That was cruel (but hilarious) of Mr. Jones. The only one who might have a clue is Dusty. The other boys are going to panic and then be ecstatic when they find out CJ bought the ranch.
TJ is going to be trouble but I have hope for him yet. He needs to find himself or he's going to be angry his whole life. TJ and Dylan perhaps? It will either be perfect or a disaster.
I know you won't say anything, but I'm jumping on the Danny is in town bandwagon. I'm not sure if he's related to Zak but something is going on.
Great chapter and happy New Year!
Great chapter. I like how you've laid the groundwork for some plot points. We meet Dylan, see a possible criminal in the neighborhood, see a possible drill team and CJ is coming to town.
Thanks for the early Christmas present!
Wow. I see what you mean about Mattie's family becoming more prominent. CJ is great. His parents are going to flip when they find out that they have two gay sons.
I hope Danny is okay. He shouldn't have tried to take things on himself. I bet CJ would have helped him.
This was a touching chapter and I really hope Zach is as resilient as they guys say. I want him to be successful after he gets stability in his life.
I'm worried about the cops. I hope they don't try anything funny. Zach couldn't take being separated from his dads.
Ah HAH!
Ancient god duels across time and space! Power! (and sex). How can you tell us so much and still leave us wondering about everything else?
Great Chapter.
I'm so sad to see it end but very excited that you're working on a sequel. This was an amazing story. Thank you for writing and posting it.
I still love Max and I'm so glad that the four boys will be able to mentor him and fill the role of big brothers for the foreseeable future. I can't wait to read about some of the mishaps and adventures Max leads them on.
Take a much deserved break and have a wonderful Holiday Season. I'm really looking forward to your next story.
Max in so awesome. I love how he's such a huge part of their lives already and that Dusty and Zak feel like he's a younger brother. Herc and Loki were also so cute when they were guarding Max in his sleep.
I'm excited to meet Charlie. I'm thinking that he's going to play an important role in Mattie's life in the near future. I also want to read about what happens during the rest of the weekend with the six guys.
Great chapter and I can't wait until the next update.
Great chapter. I'm glad that communication is transparent and that Noah and Scott are committed to working things out.
Zach looks like he's going to be a handful. I think that it's totally in Scott's character to read up on it like crazy and then come to the realization that often, experience is the best teacher.
Great chapter and thanks for updating!
I'm on vacation so I read this three times today. heh.
I saw the surprise party coming and I'm glad that everyone was there. Zak's presents were awesome and its definitely going to go down as one of his best birthdays ever.
Max is adorable. It's my hope that he inspires the 'big boys' to mentor him and other kids over the years. His simple logic and innocence are refreshing and I love how he keeps the boys on their toes. I especially loved how he tried to wake Zak up by pulling up an eyelid.
The scene where Max was "helping" Zak get Onyx ready (not to mention Max's name for Oyx) really showed Onyx's growth. Zak was comfortable leaving Onyx alone with a three year old boy. Amazing.
Have a great holiday and thanks for updating.
