Chapter Eighteen: Confluence

Just look for the light emanating from it 😉 I feel you’re making fun of the fact that my protagonists are glowing! -

Just shift, it cleanses. 😇 -
It is. And I just realized the slip, I called her Elijah's mom, but she in fact is just as much. The whole family is great. 💜

It's Friday! I hope everyone can enjoy their day to the fullest. I will make an attempt.

Slowly but steadily re-reading the original story, I realized this was the moment I fell in love with it: Even among outsiders, there is prejudice and hatred. We're all just (super)human after all. Yeah, you go ahead, Michael, and plan your own demise. 🖤

I'm so torn between liking the word and being reminded of lard instead. 😂

This chapter was just exquisite. The characters, all of them—from children to the parents to our protagonists—shone. Brightly. Fuck. I love Elijah's mom. And: Can't wait. Have to read tonight though, work. 😁

Nice coherent world lore there. I appreciate it! That's also where I draw the line. Yup. Some parents should just not exist. I would like to acknowledge a perfectly placed author's voice bleeding through here I really hope @kbois will not break my heart here ;; HAPPILY EVER AFTER please. I'm setting myself up for trouble because I could read up ahead and see what's going to happen, but I will not. Herrings are just as as anchovies, so cut it!

I'll stick to the opinion that RMW is not a bad guy, and I really like how he intellectually challenges Jamie. Kinda want to see a dinner with RMW and Mike at the table. lol These situations are always great, because Jamie has confidence and knows how to handle himself—educating one bigot at a time. Good, because I don't want to see the ethical dilemma of Jamie having to kill one of those ghosts again. He realizes the facts now. And wtf, cliffhanger now? Weren't you going to leave for holiday, Law? AHHHHH. A thoroughly enjoyed chapter once again. Excellent writing!

Oh thank you thank you. Like @Anton_Cloche said, the author is embarrassed. 🫣 -

Yeah, that's me. It feels like I've had uninterrupted sex for four days and now the world is going to see the sex tape. Send help. 💜 -

I don't even know what I was doing. It manifested in my head that the hunt and sex were connected in this chapter. Clara commented on the cosmic light show sex—should they ever have sex, and now they did—back in Ch 4. I just knew they had to be in a private area, far from people. Because it would be loud and rough and bright. 😄 What do you think is going to happen when these four arrive at Grey's pack grounds? They need their shit together. But the dynamics are going to be very very interesting. 💙 -

He has most of the answers. And there's half a day ahead just walking through the forest. If Grey and Dave can keep it together and not run off, they'll learn a lot. 🧡 -
Chapter Eighteen: Confluence

Sex: Better warn about that, dead animals: Nah, nothing out of the ordinary I also wouldn't warn about sex, as that's in the original story warning, but there was none of for so long and then I added 2000 words of f*cking. I'm a vegetarian, yet I write about wolves eating hares. I'm not sure if a golden shower really is appealing to the both of them, but if it is, no judgement here 🤷♂️ <.< And I thought, her brother was the slow one. But yeah, with Chronos being the wise one now, she was kinda forced into another role. Just like I expected Dave to blurt out being proud about the hare. He was very proud about the hare. Like … 5 Minutes till he ripped his clothes? Must be a new record! If I don't specifically describe a ripping of clothes, consider it not happening. They are capable of taking off their clothes. Well, apparently, not all gods are created equal 🤷♂️ Chronos is not a god. 😶 Deducting from that … you know a thing or two about foreplay 👍🏆 I do! Do I? Thank you. -

THIS WAS SO HARD TO WRITE OMG IT FEELS LIKE THE WHOLE WORLD IS JUDGING MY—THE AUTHOR'S—ABILITIES IN BED. They kind of are. Thank you for the kind words tho. 😂 I promise that everything at the Belcore pack will be unexpected and unforeseen. 🐺💛💙 -
run. run. we run. My paws thrummed against the forest floor in a rhythm as old as I can remember. And Dave matched it. He surged with a power that filled me with pride. Mine. Dave was mine. The wind whipped his silver fur, carrying his scent to me—air. He was the air in my lungs. The sun, he was the sun. And spring, for there would always be spring when he was around. He ignited a joy within me. ‘This is… wow.’ His thought brushed against me, kind and silky. I liked his thoughts.

Announcement: I just wrote my first sex scene and I think I did so successfully. I also am extremely flustered, and have weird feelings I don’t know where to put. What a ride. 😵🥵

You're confused about that. It's coconuts 🥥 You know, @kbois favorite. She also likes anchovies and mushrooms on a pizza. You know, they are to die for.

So that's how they are introduced! I do appreciate Tyler's keen senses. He knows his best friend. And he knows people: And that's kind of the perfect thing to say as a best friend. Couldn't ask for more. What I appreciate even more is that Elijah is not just along for the ride, he is in control: And he 100% deliberately decides to run head-first into a chainsaw. Kage will swallow him whole, and I'm all for it. I have appropriately established that I'm a incurable romantic, so I would do the exact same thing. 😂 @chris191070! Seriously now? XD Well I'll let myself be surprised, but I don't read that anywhere. And… no. Please no? Idk. Ahhh.

I was 15 when my mom died, and the funeral service was horrible. Numbing. An out of body experience. All those people with their condolences. I was personally able to skip the repast after the funeral, because my dad didn't want to torture me further. I felt this chapter and it took me a while to get through, but not just because it was hard to read for me, I also cherished the moments you put in there, @kbois. Having said that, I'm not surprised at the cliffhanger. Kage seems to always linger around, so lucky, I guess? Dangerous man. He's so hot.
