I bawled my eyes out. Just a thousand words, yet everything was so succinctly believable, charming, and heart-warming. I felt the same way at 17. Thank you.

Wow, I just had to edit my comment, I called Chronos Osiris. I should sleep longer. ๐

It's infuriatingly sexy to have a character like Kage do what he does... Yeah, I imagine. Actually, I was able to picture it extremely vividly in front of that car. But... Cheese pizza is perfect, why would anyone... ??? That is the most vile and disgusting thing I have ever heard. Help. It was surprisingly easy to get there, I managed to after just a few comments in the last story ๐ Now I'm just here, relishing in the comments after the fact. But that's ok. Ready for more, you'll see me in the comments in upcoming chapters ๐

I am eternally grateful for those who stayed so far, because it is a story that is dear to my heart. It springs out of my confusing head, and I am just trying to be the most daring I could be, with the limitations I have. If I manage to drag you deep into the currents, that is the most valuable praise I could ever get. But having said that, I read my own words, over and over and over and over and over and over again. I know I'm running the risk of losing people to a ludicrous web of nonsense. Balancing having the story play out (mostly) as originally planned with having the group's feet back on the ground, grounded in reality. So their time in Aaru was always meant to be limited, their return to reality immediate. Time will tell if I manage to see this to the end with more than one reader left. And you being here, as a reader, is the most humbling experience I have ever had. Thank you so much. I hope to be able to keep you. ๐ Clara should just be fine regulating her body temperature. This image might be a surprisingly accurate description of Chronos' physique. ๐

I appreciate your appreciation of Dave's nod to the reader. He has become meta, and the work is self-referential now. It just wrote itself and I was likeโฆ Yeah, I deserve it, so I can let him say that.

What a nice way of, after me having drown put on a pedestal, by placing on his story between Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones, which he surprisingly didn't acknowledge accordingly due to the fact, that I also compared his work to Brokeback Mountain, grounding drown, by calling him "worse than the Beatles" ๐๐๐ Except being worse than the Beatles is a really high ledge to fall off of. I get it. I'm confusing people. The whole concept of the story is to draw people into a world they've never seen before, with themes and places that would oddly fit together, but are unexpected. If I'm failing at that, I apologize. There is a reason that their time in Aaru was limited, because being back on earth will again ground them in reality. I think the whole journey was indeed stretching itself thin, but it was also necessary to go deeper and deeper down into the rabbit hole. It is a journey. ๐งก

Aaru is the end of creation. The voiceโChronosโis mostly misunderstood, especially inside of Aaru, as spoken language itself does not exist there. A song is a good metaphor, and it's oddly fitting. It's where souls go after arduous trials to be weighed. Then again, that's not how or why our group of friends arrived there, for they hold a distinct key to the place. It's not simply fate however, because to be bestowed the gift of a god, your soul must already have been weighed. Then again, your feedback might just be extremely meta commentaryโand deservedly so ๐ซฃโveiled in shadow and confusion. Thank you. ๐๐

Iโm attracted to Kage. Thatโs all.

Sebastian. Yeah... He's such a snitch.

I will start calling him Chronic too. My characters like giving people nicknames anyway ๐ Oh and yes they do. 40000 words in, there needs to be some mating. Thank you ! ! ! ! In fact, there will be many things to learn once we see them all in present time inside of Grey's pack. I am looking forward to it so much. Many chapters will play out there.

Yes. They are wolves! My pleasure! Thanks for posting your story, without which, I wouldn't be given the chance, to comment on! ๐ Qaplaโ!

For a moment, I thought, the narrator was a Klingon ^^ choqaDpu'choHpu'. We haven't even started! Unfortunately, what he liked more than answering questions, is nitpickingly correct people who asked the question or speak in riddles. If you asked him, he would say that he speaks no riddles. It is your fault for not comprehending. I wonder: Are these two things strictly connected for werewolves? No. Hunting and sex can be, but not feeding. And I haven't thought about chocolate covered strawberries beforeโฆ but that doesn't seem to fit any of my characters, so I won't go there. The characters do what they want. I just write it down! I hope, drowns CGI is better than in the 2019 Cats adaption. I'm not quite sure, if we want to see all of that ^^ Hm. I'm sure people want explicit detail though? So, Dave is actually Mexican, not American? Nice to have some diversity, not just with the sexual orientation but also with heritage, as we already saw that in Clara's and Dave's family. Though, it seems like this is not the last we heard from her, given their shrouded last meeting. Grey you mean? Yeah, his family is from Mexico. I'm not giving look-in-the-mirror descriptions of characters as you know, but I think I hinted at his grandmother in Mexico back in โฆ Chapter 8! They moved to Oregon for a reason, not sure if that will be explored in utmost detail in this story, but I have it all ready I accept that one. Egyptian gods and all. But I have no brain bugs. Thanks for your continued readership and the detail with which you analyze ! ๐

I think the green ones are "less ripe"? But if anything burned me multiple times over, I'd also just end the relationship right then and there. Feels like tofu can be prepared in many varied ways, and even good restaurants sometimes completely fail at it. I do recommend pan frying, or crisping it in the oven. Texture is important with food and nothing is worse (though that depends on the dish) than soft tofu just thrown into water XD ๐งก

I AM SO GLAD YOU FINALLY MADE AN ACCOUNT !!! ๐โโฌ We'll just have to see what the two wolves are up to in the next chapter. Thanks for being here. ๐ค

They do understand the gravity of the situation. We're not just the ants in an ant farm they are observing. Then again, maybe we are? What happens if you stomp your feet on an ant hill? Thank you, @centexhairysubโI do remember you first comment ever, we've come a long way, haven't we ๐๐?

Ohhhh!!!!!! OHHH! THAT IS BRILLIANT. ๐ I placed the story in Oregon for personal reasons. And the characters you get to know here will travel a little further South than Grey's pack home or the small city he's currently in. There are reasons for them to do so, but right now readers haven't figured it out yet (as of Chapter 17). ๐คญ Please put me in my place if anything feels very off. Once again, this story goes places, but we will always end up back here, in Oregon.

Maybe Dave is just channeling everyone else's confusion? He has another outlet now though, he can just go run in the forest. This is the first time for him doing that. I hope he's having fun. Inari did! That wasn't me! ๐งก Thank you, @CincyKrisโI do hope you had fun in this chapter

You will persevere! Trust me! You feel like Sandra Bullock in Gravity... But in the end she's back on earth, feeling the sand beneath her feet. ๐ฌ๐งก

I promise you, he will speak, and speak a lot Chronos is an intriguing guy with vast unending knowledge. The group just needs to know what questions to ask. You put it so bluntly lol. "Grey followed him to also feed and have sex with him." Haha. Yes, eat and have sex. That's on his mind. Thank you, @akascrubber ๐

I need people coming back for more! ๐

It is indeed my first story, the first fictional words I've ever shown anyone. SO THANK YOU AHHHH. Be forewarned, this story goes places. If you're with me, I can promise you laughter and sorrow, excitement and somber reflection, but most importantly: I do have a plan on how it will all end. ๐ฌ Your comments are very much appreciated. It's what brings me back to the empty (digital) page in front of me every day, sometimes with success! ๐

It was loads of fun to bring Edna back! The folks in the Constructs like to bicker. But soon we'll be among wolves again! I wonder if people are picking up on the clues I'm leaving behind. ๐ค Thank you for your readership, @JohnnyC ๐๐งก๐

We were once magnificent. Magnificent. A word that means nothing if you have no honor. The weight of legacy and the promise of destiny it should carry was turned meaningless. The Belcore pack. This was us. My family with its roots stretching deep into the rich soil of our homeland in Mexico before the winds of change carried us north, across invisible lines drawn by men, into the States. Into Oregon. It was there, under the vast, sprawling skies, that my father took the mantle of Alpha from
