You forget JP's early days and I believe JP had sex with his grandson? Or grandson-in-law?
-
Preach it brotha'!
-
I hope not. Travis is not mentally secure enough for a three-way and I hope Will recognizes that.

If an amazingly handsome 18 year old guy walked out of the bathroom nude and semi erect, I’d know I was in the wrong room 😁

NO FUCKING HELICOPTERS! Those things are death traps. I've had a couple of friends die in them. As to the Crampton-Schluter clan, they do not know the meaning of the word 'awkward' when it comes to sex. I like this little slut Fabien. I hope Marie takes him shopping in NYC.

A Mighty Fortress is Our God, written in 1529 by Martin Luther and Queen of the Night, written by Mozart in 1791.

It is very easy to fall in love with your characters and not want to end a story, and to want a happy ending for the story. A couple of my favorite gay stories didn't have happy ending, and they were tremendous stories. I find the PTSD of Chapter 8 and something you don't think about, not all happy outcomes (Jacob surviving) lead to happy circumstances. If you like these characters, you can always use them again in a new story. Thanks for all the effort and time it takes to do this.

If someone asked you today's date would you say "October 14" or "the 14th of October"?
-
I drank beer in Munich during Oktoberfest when I was 15, and wine in Nice at a similar age, maybe even younger. No idea if it was legal, but no one asked for an ID. When I was in high school we used to go to Baja California to surf and my friends and I ordered beers at Hussong's and Papas & Beer at 16 without raising an eyebrow.
-
I was responding to Zombie who pointed out the difference in drinking ages, 21 vs 18. I was pointing out that as one time, a lot of places in the U.S. were 18 until the federal government intervened.
-
I don't get this one. We have a huge variety of beers, or at least there are in California. Although I am not sure if you mean types, as in Lager, IPA, Pilsner, etc. or brands, but in CA we have over 1,100 craft breweries, some of which are pretty big and distribute nationally and they produce every conceivable type from Lager to Stout. The drinking age in many U.S. states was 18 until the National Minimum Drinking Age Act in 1984. The act threatened to withhold federal highway funds from any state that did not change to 21.

Chapter 8 - The Boy Who Lived
PrivateTim commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Chapter 8 - The Boy Who Lived
I was glad to see a new chapter and I understand, writing is a hobby and real life gets in the way and sometimes your muse takes a holiday. I am not sure there needs to be a Chapter 9. There'd be nothing wrong with ending it here. I always hated those stories in Nifty that went on for years and you'd be in like Chapter 137 and it just the characters doing variations of what they'd done the previous 136 chapters. -
I think Caroline has matured and realizes she will get more of what she wants working with George, not against him. I am sad to have caught up with both Bridgemont & CAP. Like Alexander TG, I think I shall weep.
-
I think Caroline has become more pragmatic and I suspect her price will be some more money, but more importantly, a return to polite society. No they aren't, they are captains in the King's navy..... Meh, Granger's son is 8.
-
I believe Napoleon had a notoriously small penis. I saw it once, but I don't recall where. Reading a Bridgemont story, I am always fairly confident that George will survive, if not thrive. It would be like killing Magnum in Magnum PI.
-
They may have sent Granger into a cold winter in Russia, but I seem to recall Granger finding ways to stay warm. In 1801 Amelia had already had TB for three years, first contracting it in 1998. Her health was consistently bad. She got measles in 1808, and other ailments, which piled up and she passed in late 1810. George's power is an impediment, because with it comes obligations. I'd spend as little time in 1801 London as I could and opt for time at my country holdings and summers on Wight.

Presentation to Their Majesties
PrivateTim commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Presentation to Their Majesties
I don't think anyone has died yet. No bloody battles, no one's leg blown off by a cannon ball. Rather boring if you ask me 🤣🤣 Yet hope springs eternal 😁 I am sure some drama will blow our way soon. I do so appreciate the attention to historic details and prevailing attitudes. -
Lovely chapter. Amelia's illness seems to have mellowed her and led Calvert to develop more feelings/affection for her. My favorite version of Rule Britannia, Last Night of the Proms.
-
If this were Dateline this is where Lester Holt would say, "or has she?" She has given up too easily I think. Maybe she intends to have Granger arrested on a trumped up charge when he arrives. Or she rips her dress and cries out.... I don't trust her. As I said above, I am not sure she has backed down. She is someone used to getting her way. I am sure she thinks she is more clever than Granger.

How old is Winkler? You have no idea how many boys in India were servicing British officers, and of course DE Lawrence with his Arabian boys and so on. Nothing new under the sun. I am hoping the explosion is a French attempt to get to KGIII.
-
Oh hot. I always wondered how long until Granger got with Gennaro. Thank goodness for alcohol say all the men who like dick.
-
Calvert needs to recognize the opportunity he has to bury the rumors about him and start new, more positive rumors for himself. I think this is one reason Calvert has been placed there by Lord Arbour and it gives Calvert another opportunity to show his warrior side and further endear himself to their Britannic Majesties. I do hope Ms Bellini (isn't there a Bellini in CAP?) sings Queen of the Night for KG III. It is the singularly cruelest song ever written for a singer.
-
Sorry to be a snob, but Target clothes were never trendy in Beverly Hills, Malibu or Newport. The Tar-jahey appellation was a self mocking French designer sounding thing for those who couldn't afford Guh-vinch-ee.

St. Vincent and the Letter
PrivateTim commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in St. Vincent and the Letter
A credible scenario. I don't think Calvert has to do much to seduce Amelia, she is so besotted. Uh, isn't Jane Austen's brother on board? 🤣 -
I don't like it when Granger talks like a love struck tween. Dude, your a warrior, act like one. Be interesting to see what happens with Vinny on board.
