Hey, you don't have any reviews for this chapter yet! Well, I guess you might, but in the old version of e-fic. I like the balance you strike with your chapters, I mean, you can feel how affected Jason is, and feel for him, while also being able to chuckle at the banter and wit also in here. As a obviously not gay-guy, sometimes I don't know if I should be laughing at some of the jokes though, lol! But, I guess it's the way the characters are and respond that make it okay. ha-ha. Also, I'm glad he and Wendy have come to some understanding and are friends here. Um, yeah, so you rock!

Ah, yeah, it was hinted at on the back cover of book and so I checked last page to find a very, very sad death scene.

I feel sorry for Charlie, it's like he has no real idea what's going on, he's just... following. Well, this whole thing with Peter is ominous... whatever will happen. All I know is it can't be good.

I'm really curious how all the pieces will fit together. The short chapters certainly add to the pacing here and add tension! This is a good technique. I like how it's not just the words that matter in your stories, but the layout too! It's amazing psychologically how that affects the reading experience. Thanks for the read!!!

I'm glad for your glossary there. I love that I finish a chapter and the next one's just come up! It's like it's my lucky day or something! hehe. I hope to get another one in before dinner... Do you read on when: 1) you KNOW one of the main protagonists die? Feel free to add other questions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1) I'm reading a book and there's a lovely relationship going on, but I know there's a tragic end and the guy will die. I am convincing myself to read on because it's well written, BUT it sort of puts me off. Hmmm, don't know how much longer I can stick with it. Especially as we really get to know their characters and I like them both so much.

I think that is soooo cool. I've been waiting for that to change since I first came here--just because the last date was so old, lol!

It is real, and very sad. I must write more New Zealand based stories...hmmmmm...maybe my next big stint!

Friday I watched him through the reflection of the window read his book. He lay on the bed, knees bent, legs spread apart, and his feet inches from his butt. He had a habit of moving his free hand while he read. Sometimes it be scratching the comforter, and sometimes it would be slapping his stomach to random tunes. Today he held a drink bottle. It found its way up and down his arm for a time and then he moved it to his stomach, moving down until it was where I wanted it on his crotch. Ge

Love and loss. A short story.

Making progress on a project--yeah, that is something that would help. :pickaxe: Music is great too. And I must write it down, that might be the most theraputic. I think it's great that there are so many positive people out there. I definitely want to stay part of that bunch!

Oh simply wonderful! Such a piece of cake to read your writing. I felt Blake's embarrassment there with the wetsuit but I like the way Haze is there for him. The end part was just right with the questions and the talking--I like that they are getting to know each other a bit more and starting to feel a bit more comfortable around each other. Haha the NZ couple were funny, but a bit annoying too, LOL--not too bad. Sooo looking forward to the next one!

Okay, I really thought there was more than twelve chapters, *sigh. I will have to be patient, I guess --although the story is finished, right? So I hope not to be waiting too long! Thank you for all the research you've done to write this, but also for making the history accessible with good action and interesting characters--both protagonist and antagonist. I look forward to seeing the development of all your characters--as said before, I want to see more of Charlie--he seems like an interesting fellow, but I want more proof of that. I quite despise Peter now. So many people are dying, very sad. Poor, poor Thomoza--I really liked him. I hope not everyone Michael employs will die, goodness. So, so sad. Good chapter.

I liked seeing Michael and Charlie through Thokoza's eyes. That's a nice way to add to the reader's perception of them. Also the little details like how often Thokoza shaved them adds to the richness of the story. Another wonderful chappy.

I love how engaging this is! There is enough description, but not too much that it bores, and the different characters really do come to life on the page. Especially Michael and Peter. If I had any constructive criticism is would be with Charlie--I want to feel more of him, I guess a little more connection would be good. Maybe it's because we have more from Peter's side and the relationship between him and Michael than we do with Michael and Charlie. It's touched on, and the moments are beautiful between them, I guess I want to see more than just attraction on their part. This is hard for Charlie--how does that affect there relationship. Hmmm, maybe more scenes with him and Michael would help? More to show us their love through them going through something tough. But perhaps I speak too early, let me read on. I do very much love your style, Louis!

This is some very, very sound advice. I know there are some things I need to change/work on, but they're not easy. Well, I just have to push through another year and see how I can work on myself to make things better. I never used to get upset over such little things, never so annoyed or irritated. Probably a sign these are symptoms of something bigger. I just need to be able to latch on to something good that keeps me positive. Writing makes me happy, which is why it frustrates me that I'm developing some repeated strain issues in my arm. Thank you for your words.
