I can't place it, but there is something I sort of like about Peter--hmmm maybe not like but find fascinating. He's certainly driven and motivated, conniving--but interesting all the same.

Oh, I'm worried about Peter now, something bad is going to happen because of him, I'm sure. Something that will test Charlie and Michael's love for each other.

Nice friend, Kevin. I'm not suicidal, I just want to see the good in things again--I don't like the frustrated, hurting, angry, unhappy person I feel like at the moment. The thing that keeps me going the most is making other people happy, but sometimes I just can't do that. I just thought hearing some tips would help, you know. I like the one with thinking of someone that cares about you. It's nice. I like to go outside and walk--usually that helps a lot. But I've been outside so much lately, and it's just-rrrr, doesn't get the tangled web of thoughts out of my head that sort of feels like it will implode, lol.

Okay, peeps, what do you do when you feel like you're so frustrated you find it difficult to continue everyday activities? How do you keep positive? I REALLY need tips right now. I am generally a very optimistic person, but right now most things seem pretty black. Nothing major or bad has happened to me or anything, it's a culmination of smaller things. I had very vivid images, I def. got a Lord of the Rings vibe--which is awesome. How slow at reading am I? Took me an hour and twenty minutes to read! LOL. But the details need to be drunk in. I think it needs to be snappier myself, though all the above suggestions are true. Still, you have a wit about you that I don't think comes across with these. Of course, I know anything I come up with will be lame, so....well, I'll think on it.

Some imagination you have there, Stu! The fantasy elements are amazing and wonderful. I loved the idea of Owen and him coming from the pool there--in my mind this was really clear, and so sad. Yeah, Dan's secret is hard. I like the way you showed us his guilt and then the magnanimous forgiveness on Owen and Matt's part. Great chapter. I look forward to the next one!

Hmmm, just posing a question here. What does 'cheating' actually mean to you? Is it just sex? Or hooking up? Or could it also be when someone is looking for a deeper emotional connection somewhere else (even if this is without sex?) And what about those who never cheat physically, but each time they have sex with their partner, they are thinking of other people (imaginary or otherwise) is that also cheating? Something that can be forgiven? Or not? Personally, I'd never ever cheat physically with anyone. As for the second point there, well, then yes, I would say I'm a cheater. Though I have my suspicions that everyone slips with this one every once and a while. I've yet to meet someone who only thinks of their partner in bed. I don't see myself as an awful person for this. But I'm curious at other ppl's thoughts.

Ahhh... I just love that feeling. It's a mix of contendness, a large dollop of happiness, and a splash of disappointment that it's over. What a wonderful story. As Clinton pointed out it is well written with some great characters. The flow of consciousness style makes it easy to get into the character's head and helps to experience the story more personally. When I'm sucked into a story like this, it's really like magic. Very romantic, sweet, caring, honest. Lovely. Thanks for the read.

wow, this is a really great short story. I loved every moment--felt caught up in the emotion of it. The dancing was a powerful way for them to communicate with each other, but also to show us a lot about their characters to us readers. I'm very impressed with this. The title of this is what interested me to read this. I think it was a little harder to get into than other stories I've read of yours BUT then I get into it and it's all good stuff again. Go Zane.

The two previous chapters were long (great, but took a while to read) I was surprised when this one seemed to whiz by! I love the way these two are around each other. I like both of them so much.

Oh, goodie, I get to be your first review.(for this chappy, anyhow, lol) Historical fiction isn't usually a genre I indulge in, but this seemed interesting--and honestly, your easy-to-read great-flowing style makes it all the more easy to access and enjoy!
