Much like you - though perhaps not as well as you - I am trying for realism within the context of the story - so to hear you find it so is good to hear. I don't want to delve too much into the money issue because even if the boys make it, they have a whole life ahead of them that I couldn't possibly write about. Which is my way of saying we'll never know if it is truly resolved, but there will - of course be a resolution of some kind at the end. Thanks Sara!

Kevin, really you were great, in a Jason/Peter-esque moment, when Mike saw the material on Antique cars, he was like a little kid at Christmas - he was so excited to thumb through it. I was cooking dinner when he saw it, and every so often - "Whoa" or "Wow" or "How freakin cool is that" would come from behind me. As for this ending. Hopefully there will be other stories that will grab you as well. While I do NOT see a sequel, Ethan is a character that has grabbed me, so maybe a spin off? with guest appearances? IDK yet.

Thanks Simon - yeah it must be hard to blow that much money but as Bernie Maddoff Shows, it's possible to 'invest wisely' but not be smart. I would think took over his investments thinking he was smarter than the trustees and could make more money - sadly we all know about a fool and his money. I suspect he always thought the bank of Ray and Flora would be there to bail him out should he get wiped out, but now he is faced with a harsh reality - they won't. They won't leave him destitute and on the street, but it might feel like it to him. Peter will be Peter til the end. RC, - The next chapter is the last one with the grandparents - until I get to the Short Story addition that deals with the trial. Um well, if that doesn't give me nightmares, I am not sure what will. That was an interesting way to die, but it fit rather well with the story line. My only gripe was not getting to 'see' the dragon fight. Seems like it would be kicking, if that chapter was any indication. Thanks, when do we get the next chapter

Dag, HC - that was another Chapter and a half and then some. whew. So Adam is back, but won't say what happened. Does Adam suspect more than you are letting us hear? Magister Aenhol is clearly more than he seems, much more. Even the Mage Lord seems to defer to him - or at the very least treat him as an equal. Too many questions to ask, that I know you won't answer anyway. I still feel bad for Brian, I bet a part of him wished Jacob never came back but then he doesn't know that had that happened, Adam would be dead by now. One glaring hole in all this is Ho-o. If she can and has spoken to them and she is the source of their power, she should be talking to them. That is not dealt with very well. I mean, Adam knows what is going on, he knows lord Raezhul is involved etc, she has information he needs, He would ask her and she would give it because it is in her own interest to do so. She needs TWO hosts to act in this world so it can't be easy and now that she has them, she would be making sure they don't die on her. Anyway, hopefully that gets explained with sooner than later.

Being an actor, politician, professional athlete, singer, whatever, is their profession. It should no more require them to divulge their personal life than being an electrician, lawyer, IT professional or whatever. Should they be role models? Again no. Same reason. Doing something you love, shouldn't carry with it the requirement you tell people about your personal life or live up to some vague standard known as 'role model.' The nice thing about freedom of speech and the like is you are free not to speak up as well.

I used to think I was reasonably bright, but seriously? I don't understand that whole half dead/half alive part. Cat's in the box, cat's alive. If X happens and he dies, he is dead. At no point is he both. There is the potential to be dead but then so is there the same potential when I walk out the door each day. Oh well, it's no secret science was NOT my best subject. @Cia - I think there are things you can put over the screen that blocks folks from looking from the side, I am going to look into those @Mike - not sure, I thought I saw a sign in MD DMV that says at 70 and above you need a doctor's note or something.
