  1. Hmmm 🤔, Lord Valerius, is still at it. Did they really just give a warning show to the witches, or did they also sense more than just following Ray? Ray now knows where to find Gabriel, but is this just corralling him to a vampire trap? Gabriel’s mother had declared that Ray must not fall to the Vampires; so will she be an ally or is she trying to secure her own position as the new witch queen? Quite the parasites the Queen Bitch and Coven Leadership have been. I would find it hard to believe this betrayal works out well for the Queen, though she may have set this up as her grand deal with the vampires. Still too many unknowns to see where and how Ray and Gabriel fair. I fear a little for Renato too, as the gifted powers may not be enough as it looks to be the whole of the Vampire Realm as well as the orchestrating Bitch Bench of Parasites to win Gabriel’s freedom and to keep Ray free. Hopefully the ancients that helped guide Ray originally, will coalesce into something far bigger for Ray.
  2. No, no, now. This is to save the baby. Don’t you go hiding behind a lawyer to murder that child. Rid yourself of those evil thoughts! 😈
  3. Have him study up on class-action suits; this could turn into a group rebuttal suit! 😆

    Chapter 48

Mike is clairvoyant, even without knowing about the property on the water, he realizes they will need an Anchor to sail these waters.
  5. There’s the generation gap, but how do they term the Grand-generation gap?

    Chapter 11

Yes, unfortunately our experiences stay for life. As to whether we rationalize them in such a way as to not let them control our lives in unhealthy and dysfunctional ways is what may require coaching. When a VA doctor asked me the mental health questions, the assumption was that I wasn’t exposed to traumatic events. I clarified by listing several events quickly and sequentially, involving death in maiming in my presence, as well as my tragedy in an accident. The computer tapping quickly recorded many yeses to the standard questions, as I myself was surprised that that those were so quickly recalled for that discussion…as these events happen decades ago. Yet, they are always readily available and many remembered in detail. I believe the youthful mind even amplifies that traumatic experience, as emotions are newer and stronger at that age, therefore the repetition of these traumatic events, at these young ages, makes for significant emotional and lifelong impacts. Yes, coaching to get through this reckoning with their minds, is no doubt important; especially if it so outwardly observable in his behaviors. Nice job, @Paladin; Such a realistic portrayal of the type youthful trauma reactions I’ve seen and experienced.

    Chapter 11

Yeah, another well intentioned prude or a social worker trying to reprogram human nature, pushing such shameful legislation through. Believe me, I wasn’t doubting you, it was disagreement with such shallow legislation that would leave an older teen to time out in the system, whether group home or foster, but timing out without a family hug, without a family having your back, and without having a family to share a normal life and development with. So shameful; that these people pass laws without looking at the already abysmal statistics readily available for the asking, just look at the adoption rates of teens, especially boys, especially non-white…it’s terrible. 😢

    Chapter 11

Chickens eat worms and grubs, isn’t that close enough to earth to consider it a meat substitute? It think McDonalds had a lawsuit defending that as a meat substitute, as a filler. 🤣

    Chapter 11

That age restriction for adoption is so bogus. Even early pregnancy doesn’t automatically mean the loss of the child due to age; they just confirm ability to care for and the needed support that will come into play. The same should apply; are the adopters mature enough to fulfill that parental role, and can they support and provide what a late teen needs…argh! Too much bureaucracy removes common sense!

    Chapter 11

Are you not feeling your chickens well? 😂 Well, when guest show every chicken seems to be an Ethiopian chicken, slim from running for their lives from an early age!

    Chapter 48

Oh What a Night… we all wish to get older a be self determined adults…the we reminisce on the good found in our youth. These guys have kept their youthful compassion and love for their friends and families; so delightful, if not refreshing. I believe the village may be ready for that youth home as much as Tony is. Now hopefully all this conviction convinces Aron that it’s real and that he too is an important part of what’s to become…of their home, of their place within the community. A great chapter to reacquaint or meet the extended family and the community family. I love the endorsement from the twins. That was the gift that kids bring, without even a thought of negativity.

    Chapter 4

It makes me wonder just how much the house parent knows. He’s more tolerant than policy probably allows and surely more than he’s required to handle; yet, he knows Jack, and knows his meds, and works with the prescriber too. We’re definitely not getting the whole picture until Jack totally opens up.
  13. Yeah the neighbor boy loves to use those exact apps as he spends time with me, but the content is mindless or just humor, all in attempts to get likes. I’m starting him in swimming lessons and he’s not afraid of the water as much as missing out on gaming with online friends (unverified strangers, often older than his 9y3m old). I often take him to the park, boat launches, or riding, with promises of a pizza finale; but it gets him and his mind off hours of gaming. 🤦‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️
  14. Sincerely, which popular programs do you speak of? I find too many brain dead or addicted to shooting and bombing games…or TikTok shorts. I have a 9 yo neighbor boy that’s likely heading that way as his adult male influence are heavy gamers; not the productive or educational type.

    Chapter 1

Kyle has no taste in women for sure,…so he must be gay, or at least reckoning with the realization of being gay.

    Chapter 47

Yay, Tony’s family has arrived safely, after many 6 drop pee stops. Nothing like a baby pushing on the blatter. Now Mike is on the hunt, could Carol become a motivational thing beyond family for staying near Thompsonville? Jill seems to think anywhere there’s support away from mommy dearest is great.
  17. Get the Clearance, Clarance, and don’t call me Shirley. Does anyone speak jive? Gay? I’m feeling pretty gay myself, pour me another.
  18. Well, when my Tom Cat became a They Cat, his temperament became…softer. 😊
  19. Ahhh, but does his inner passenger perk up at emotional love/lust interests and will they agree, or more for possible threats as in waking Josh in the hospital, and the mention/appearance of the FBI? Question is, will Josh always be in agreement with his inner passenger? Oh goodness, I hope he keeps his conversations with himself private! 🤣
  20. Hmmm 🤔 aren’t you forgetting… Archaos Adam; hehehe, no they’re brothers; not a ward, not foster, nothing here but BROTHERS. Hahaha, with full knowledge of the stink he was stirring, as his crowd sampling data attests!
  21. Well you may have the answer within…Will Josh make Reed soft? Animal House: is it supposed to be so soft?
  22. Oh yes, Oh, you want to play it like that? Fine. Let’s speak in your dialect. “I do not require your assistance at this time,” I said, crisp and cold as the air between us. “Please extend my regards to your mother. However, if you wish to complete her request to her satisfaction, I suggest you summon James for me.” That made him pause, not long, but enough. His expression flickered. Surprise, then something else. Something darker that he quickly buried. I turned fully to face him then, chin lifted, gaze steady. I gave him the same cool, appraising look he’d worn half the evening, the one that said I wasn’t impressed. “That will be all,” I said flatly. “You may go.” He didn’t reply. Just stood there, jaw clenched, before turning sharply on his heel. The door swung open again, and he vanished back inside with a flick of his coat and the hard slam of the door behind him. And just like that, I was alone again but for once, I didn’t feel small. Who knew that William Reed Hastings IV would have such a positive affect for Josh. But IV himself didn’t fair nearly so well, though there seems to be something more going on with IV; shall he become obsessed with the poor rescued street kid? For Josh’s sake, I hope the feelings are not reciprocated. With Lady Hastings being the town crier, and the explosive care IV requires, Josh would be at extreme risk being observed and scrutinized by such prudes.
  23. Hahahaha 😂 Adam, no, they’re brothers. Reminiscent of Rent…we’re close! Oh the scandal.

    Chapter 46

She should have rode the horse…and then let it rear up on the guy; turn about fair play big guy.
