  1. Complex and riveting indeed, and the only Kincaid we follow in this chapter is Greg. Many facets to this mystery, so it’s looking like chipping away at it will only yield another layer of the mystery onion 🧅. Joshua would appear to be the most logical DNA genome coding used in the encryption. Assuming he is, and the high speed mountain crash, why was the encryption invoked and to protect against whom or what? Walter definitely knows Joshua, but he himself commanded Joshua is stay hidden, so will the timing be right for Greg to reveal more truth from Walter; my guess is not yet. As understanding the encryption event is not understanding the why and the who is involved; and how many groups may be acting independently. We need MORE INPUT. 😂

    Chapter 2

Yeah, Draven seemed to want to help, but instead circled like a vulture to take what he expected to be easy pickings. It’s ok to find common interest but when finding out that’s not the case then don’t punish your target for not being what you expected; Cal never indicated…hey let’s go mess around and hookup. I think Draven will regret this more than he ever expected. He way over reacted, but then got physically abusive; too old to be having foolish child tantrums.

    Chapter 2

It may have helped…he got the picture of Draven quick, with little investment, but then he also had the sense to not respond to Kyle…so far that is. So that may all be a step towards a healthy restraint. 🙏
  4. His momma done slapped that silliness out his a$$! So he was shown the light, then he saw the baby, and he finally realized he is a father and a husband. But as his momma said, he would not be redeemed for a long time. Perhaps this battle between the fathers, Noah’s father, Elijah and Rain’s father, Jace, will bring redemption for both. In the meantime, we may need a few bandages. For a baby of 7 months, Rain being able to open eyes and focus, let alone having a sense of awareness seems a little uncanny. So I don’t know if Rain’s premature birth and early signs of awareness are signs of more to come from baby Rain also???
  5. Ironically the father stole Noah’s home and warm family memories, and now he’s making it worse; as he’s only wanting the grandparents bragging rights, and not the love of Noah or Rain. Yes, the other irony is that Jace wanted Noah but then pushed him away when life colored outside his prescribed lines. Now having seen the mirror of what he did and had become, he gets it stolen from him. Like the ole saying…be careful for what you wish for…you may get it!

    Chapter 8

With the barrage of lofty platitudes coming from Noah all weekend, can’t young Nicky see he should scrutinized those intended for him with the same level of skepticism? Does this also playback to Jack saying Noah was not who you think; so does anyone know the real Noah…perhaps including Noah himself? Poor Jack, is it lonely self pity or worry for his one friend Nicky? Or is it magnified because he feels both? Many things learned this weekend, or at least the seeds planted. Cute youthful Jonah…how much is he playing off of big brother’s emotions? I suspect quite a bit. The night is young, maybe Nicky may yet crack the shell, returning Jack return to safety; or at least sleep on it to come up with a game plan.
  7. He may also have a power fetish for cross-dressing in high heels; as she strutted into the boardroom, heels 👠 clacking with the stoke of power and confidence…
  8. So it was/is a love/hate relationship with @vanalas’s characters? 🤣 Yup, the overall storylines are good, but sometimes the characters just repeatedly ask for more pain or the converse, the other characters live to inflict pain…not once, not twice, but as frequently as they can; as if it makes them better than their victims. And of course, the dialogue has to state this same argument over and again. But again, the underlying storylines and storytelling can be rewarding. It would be rather interesting to see the stories presented without the repetitiousness of the boasting villains… hmmm 🤔. I wonder how much the story would be trimmed? Don’t get me wrong @vanalas, I enjoy the stories, but it is with some frustration; not in just the villains getting the upper hand, but in listening to the repeated proclamations of superiority and cruelty they now plan to inflict…again. 🤣

    Chapter 49

  10. Unfortunately it’s a youthful fleeting experience that for now brings heartache, but it shouldn’t be used to wall oneself off from risking love again.

    Chapter 49

Tony’s mom followed them to Thompsonville?

    Chapter 49

No, no, no,…no negativity here. Laughing, drinking, having a party…ok, no drinking for Aaron and Tony but the mood is contagious just the same!

    Chapter 49

Haha, maybe so. The contradictions of Gay, but a man of Leather…for his bike more than the back playroom, Mustache in the wind, but have the biker bars really gone Vegan? 🤣 That’s so Gay!

    Chapter 49

Ahhh, but Aaron said no reason you can’t have both…so let the private party begin before the grand finale fireworks 🎇

    Chapter 49

Not the same drinking and singing alone… People might start the paperwork for the funny farm. 🤣

    But in which get-up?

    Chapter 7

Yup, the leather belt was the go to when a little older, but when smaller, mom had a bush that those small branches were most durable. She’d make us go get a good branch, and strip it, for our own switching; a type of the ole caning for kiddies. 😂 Then I got old enough to start cutting the grass and trimming the bushes. Mom came back from the store and looked around. She asked…what happened my bush? My reply…it died. She was upset and expressed her displeasure. I told her that bush had already caused too much pain. 😂 She actually tried to hide it, but I saw a slight twitch in her cheek trying to hold back. So the end result was she let it go.

    Chapter 7

Yeah, a public flogging with a cane could very well be a possibility in parts of the orient too. In my youth in the south, USA, my reference to sassing or talking back to my dad was it would get you knocked to the corner with top spin. Then punishment would be dealt; It was not tolerated at all, to sass.
  20. Depends; It’s the epitome of the British slang….taking the piss.

    Chapter 7

I can’t wait to get a better understanding of Jack’s family history; but that was some phone call. 🤦‍♂️ It could sure leave your ears ringing and the words said can never be taken back, so I hope it was not just Jack’s emotional state speaking.
  22. Amazing how flexible in interruption so many of those are. I see lots of different opportunities for those to fit a chapter title within your storyline. Thanks for sharing that insight into your processes.
  23. Amen to that. Jace is or has become an abusive, manipulative prick; both mentally and physically as slave mastering Noah, especially in pregnancy, is controlling and cruel…until he wants the dolphin to swim.
  24. Hmmm, yes, it’s becoming clearer now…the mist is lifted briefly and the trap becomes more clear…but it is flawed! Never could the vampires have expected…
  25. Diapers needed in infancy, diapers needed in incontinency. Both leave us crying 😢 in dependency. 😂 The circle of life…leads us back to where we began.
