Which one was later known to be the 18-wheeler truck driver?
-
Yeah but kickers are not the burly, scrappy type. If anything it’s more likely to be the poor little sap that dad wants to be an athlete, but the coach is afraid of him getting crushed and mangled in any contact sport.
-
No! She would dare do that to Trace. 😇

I big factor may be how the news spreads and how it’s handled by his old teammates; spewing hate and traitorous words may give Joel motivation to play hard for the team that embraces him now. So Fletcher had better accept him if they want his best.

@Krista, thank you for expanding this great story and for all the extra work involved in doing so. I’m loving the story and feel it has much more depth to explore. The character development pace and depth are filled with suspenseful anticipation; both within the story and for us as the readers. The balance of character significance and contribution to the story content is what I love about your writing. Even when a character is absent, we can feel they will again nudge the story or give it levity sometime soon. Ahem, is Cody asking, “are we there yet?” Thank you again for sharing your stories and the interactions you share with us so frequently.

Given the timeline and from where Dean is coming from, he seems to be making pretty good progress. How will he act when Leah calls him out? How would anyone that is no out response? Defensively and denial, yet possibly making things worse. Likewise Ethan is another storm brewing if Kris doesn’t hint of a new friend….you seem happier today; yeah? Well I spent some time hanging out with the guy that’s been working on my car. It was actually very relaxing and fun. 🤩

I usually call AI Automated Idiocy but Automated Interference works too. 🤦♂️

But then that would just make another good training book, …to use when desperately needing sleep.

Maybe, but no doubt he is not where Tad needs to be. Razi has too much hidden and not credibility to speak better of him. He is a fantastic candidate…but could it be he a just another pawn in the Fenton chest set?

Oh, I hope not! Pun accepted.

Congratulations 🎊🎈🍾🎉, and Cheers with the coffee 🫘wash.

Hip hip hoorah for Doc Kinsley; sending MacLoud Mouth packing. What a fake bullying her way around. She didn’t even know the protocols enough to understand the defense Doc Kinsley quoted. Yay, for Yani…and for his mini me, Weston. Together they can move mountains…into perspective for locating the lost in frost men. Oh Andrew, why have they allowed you to be drugged; save some pills for testing and replace the others with aspirin, birth control…ahem…something less harmful; maybe a little blue pill, just for fun! 🤩 The Dg has had enough, Mr Gagcum is about to find himself obsolete by nature of dysfunctional replacement or retirement due to antiquation; don’t run off Mr Gagcum, we have lots of file cabinets locked, sealed, and ready for you to move under supervision….no forms required.

Chapter 12 - All Hell Breaks Loose
Philippe commented on ChromedOutCortex's story chapter in Chapter 12 - All Hell Breaks Loose
Amen, I hate petty gossip. They can be nosy all they want but respect the boundaries of other peoples basic privacy; an expectation of privacy is implied even in public or on public lands, when no one is present and reasonable expectation of privacy is realistic; otherwise, we start getting into peeping Tom and stalking laws. The old peeping Tom law was if the curtain is drawn, even if not completely restricting or obscuring total view, a reasonable expectation of privacy is realistic. Therefore, the peeping Tom made efforts to see and follow activities not intended for public exposure. Common sense needs to prevail, not technicalities. An ole Alabama judge heard a case of my mom tackling a women and beating her on her shoulders with her own heels. The judge clarified, asking let me get this straight; “ you went to that woman’s front door and started cursing in front of her young child and then blocked her from closing her door???” With a subdued nod and humble yes, your honor, a quick NOT GUILTY verdict was issued for the assault charges the neighbor had filed when the police found her being beaten on her back while laying on her stomach with my mom sitting astride her, all with her own shoe 👠 in our front yard; not far from where mom tackled her off the porch onto the lawn 2-1/2 feet lower. 🤦♂️ Dad loved tell that story about his wild wife, sitting on the neighbor and whooping her with her own shoe. He said it looked like the judge almost broke his composure as he asked for that clarification too. Me, I was still a little knee hugger that was left standing there as my hiding spot took off running to make the neighbor leave us alone. -
Chapter 12 - All Hell Breaks Loose

Maybe you need to work in an auto shop where you can bang, beat, and take your frustrations out on inanimate objects; wow, angry much? 🤣 In general much said is true, but it seems like it maybe reminds you of…perhaps that straight but curious guy that you met in college but he was really gay, hiding in the bottom of the closet, in the basement?? -
Unfortunately there’s always a percentage of bad that reflects poorly for the human race, everywhere, all continents, countries, and ethnic groups, but they are not the majority. That doesn’t diminish the pain or heartache imposed by them upon others. It’s still very real and from the vantage point of a youthful person, that has no baseline for what is normal, it seems as if the whole of the world is speaking…it is not. Life beyond may be more challenging for those pushed abruptly from the nest, but even without that normal family help and safety net, we find and build our on families with a unique support net. We can only hope that compassionate familiarization will help those groups in that mindset to be pre tolerant…but alas, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.

Hmmm 🤔, two murders vs it being the same?? Sounds logical since the assumption is that Paul was murdered to protect Fenton Black and his empire. Yet Fenton Black is now murdered himself. Did the disclosures Killian turned in precipitate this murder as Fenton Black’s arrest could have spilled even more peoples names and involvement? That would tend to indicate police involvement, as limited people would have known about that info packet being submitted. It could all be coincidental timing concerning the packet and the mansion murders. Jake being found with a gun is probably a red herring. Had that gun even been fired? The detective indicated the wall were not soundproofed, saying that another gun had to be involved. Ruling out Jake’s gun that quickly may indicate that it hadn’t been fired at all. As to Jake’s unconscious condition, I have to wonder if the naked Fenton Black wasn’t into sedated rough play with his…boys. Jake may have been drugged for Fenton’s play time and was just functioning enough to recognize the intruder. So is Jake a witness? If the murderer saw that they were about to have a shootout, they may have escaped to take care of Jake later. No need to dismiss a good theory simple because it’s not true! 😂 Another funny movie quote that summarizes the human nature of wanting to believe what we can see is not possible.

This gamble is huge and depends on actual intelligence to succeed. Too many politicians vote on power mongering as they push Humpty Dumpty off the wall. Then they believe they can reconstruct humpty better, when ineptitude is what got him push off to begin with.

Chapter 12 - All Hell Breaks Loose
Philippe commented on ChromedOutCortex's story chapter in Chapter 12 - All Hell Breaks Loose
Not to stand on technicalities, but Leah and Dean have only dated a couple of times; there has been no talk of an exclusive relationship nor has there been that formal boyfriend/girlfriend acknowledgement, and no talk of meeting the family through the family may be limited. So no doubts Leah has gotten her hopes up but she knows there hasn’t been any promises. Likewise, now that Dean has hooked up with Kris, will he start to make excuses, politely turning down dates, as being busy? This again is difficult for Dean as then Leah wants to know why but DEAN may be trying to not lead her on. Leah may want to run his calendar, when it’s not necessarily her business…yet she’ll push to know why no date, where’s my call, even if it hurts her feelings to know Dean found someone other than her…and for woman, they make it worse by feeling put down because it is for a man. Woman can be so possessive, so insecure, and so hurt, much by their own false hope or perceived exclusivity…we were practically engaged! 🙄 I met the parents…I’m already like family, we’re practically married?? 🤔 -
Lots of twists and turns here; dad becomes a more staunch supporter of Creek and Dailan, Dailan proves true in trial by fire as he was the only protection Forest had from a vicious dog attack, Kate OUT flanks Creek and announces her partner in a lesbian relationship, and mom starts to show cracks in the Great Wall of Aiko. Aiko isn’t magically on board with Creek’s romantic interests but shows signs that she may can get past her own prejudice to see what Creek wants, and that Creek holds Forest to be inseparable for any relationship to exist.
