I have the feeling that Joel is saying “sorry” and “I’m a mess” to mean more than just the immediate as he apologizes to Davin. The moody cat that becomes the “wet cat” drunk is probably a great description of Joel at this stage in his transition to life after mommy dearest breaking him. So I see more growth in Joel’s trust and openness with Davin. The conversation and the touches, even when drunk, speaks to a growing relationship in my mind.

Oh my. It’s tough trying to put lives together when those logical steps and commitments haven’t quite been reached in their own time; for this I’m referring to Kris’ hard choices of job versus mom, Ethan, and what weighs heavier on his mind…Dean. From my understanding of Dean’s relationship with Leah is that they hadn’t made any relationship commitments, hadn’t discussed being exclusive, and definitely weren’t making plans for a future together; they were just two lonely souls, that dated a couple of times and spent time together a couple of times beyond those dates, each time included a sexual hookup; all very casual. Jenna has spent much time and focus on her observations of Dean’s interactions with Kris; first the kiss. Multiple conversations not only about Dean but likewise insinuating or reinforcing the notion that Dean is with exclusively with Leah, in an established and exclusive relationship. 🤔 Now we hear Jenna telling Leah that she doesn’t know for sure, as if she wants Leah to hold on for what she’s been implying wasn’t hers. What a busy body gossip. Then we have Leah acting as if Dean has left her, from an established and committed relationship. Beyond that, we hear her whining that Dean has to explain to her why and formally break off their relationship?? Huh 🤔. It’s unfortunately the reality of dating, sometimes you build and grow into a stronger and exclusive relationship, sometimes you stagnated or more often you grow apart. Leah’s initial personality made her seem confident and outgoing, now this insight into her makes it seem it was all her waitress's facade washing over to Dean. So while she thinks Dean to be insincere, it seems she herself has been less sincere and open than Dean. Dean had said and indicated throughout that he didn’t know what he wanted or was looking for….seldom remaining overnight or beyond just waking to leave. I fail to understand the whining from Leah. I can sympathize for her lost hopes. I can understand her sadness that her hopes were coming her dream, but I don’t hold sympathies beyond that. Her expectations that Dean has to answer to her or to allow her a confidant status to his life and feelings is her grasping for what was never hers.

That works as Christmas Eve we only got to open one present 🎁. 😆 then shake the rest until herded to bed.

Nothing better than sitting on a rotten log known as the asshat quarterback that has over valued his stock. Now he has falling stock value with his peer group…oops, Joel did it again, and Gavin seems to have a shaming hero worship going on. Colt got dowsed but he too joked with Joel’s offer to warm him up. Then he seems to have a reserved respect that Joel stands up for himself…making it harder to understand how/why Joel came to be with them at the ranch. Once again Colt seems to be waiting on the couple to fess up as he seems to know even if subconsciously.

I think it was a Greek friend in the military that we called G21b4us…it started with G then had 21 letters before ending with us. -

Yeah, like that’s predictable at their ages; the floor, the walls, hell maybe the ceiling. I used to love shooting the wall behind my headboard. 🤣 -

Uncle Marks eyes were blue…one shot blew them out for good. What? Camping out is now a competition? I did some of those events, and cleaned up pretty well too. -

Oh the Roman Candle was planted and we saw beautiful fireworks, then we went out to enjoy more. -
Like shaped charge fireworks, do they have those paintballs that will burst in handprint shapes so he gets the slap on that cheek? Slapped right there on page 12!

This is why it’s still more than coincidence that Rick was requested to be assigned there; who truely requested or wanted Rick there? Is it so they can continue his mental torture or was Rick the intented target but the killer likes this torture as a kind of murderous foreplay? I agree that puts Shane and the Martin family at risk, it likewise, I think Tom may have given this thought a lot of consideration over the years; he may be better prepared than one would expect, and I think he is already protective of his charges as they are already becoming family. His question and concern over Casey was touching, as I think he already feels they need to take him into their fold too.

Ahhhh, but in a house of mirrors filled with those that do protest too much….how to identify the real maniacs. There’s a lot a truth to the ploy of keeping money flowing and lining the pockets of those on the gravy train. So the lone outsider is made to look a fool, as they all miss their gravy train and power. 😒 No one enjoys the unfortunate unsetting the apple cart, yet how else do you cull the bad apples 🍎.

I’ve long believed the outside influence has been passive. They invested heavily in…all you can eat buffets. They logic it’s easier to make everyone fat and passive, so a takeover is just a matter of changing signs 🪧. The response? There’s a special this Thursday with all you can eat snow crabs 🦀 and Friday they have lobster.

The highly effective trio, somewhat like that seen within the young version of the guys; but now with an older brother to school…oh dear.

In concert! 🤣 Beautiful, beautiful, music , one can even whistle a bar or two 🎶, as the tone becomes darker and more ominous.
