Dear @Defiance19, I had the intention of reading all tributes (ok, all but mine) to Carlos today, but you have me bawling like dumb here. I’ll never be able to express what it meant to me when I got an email from Carlos asking me to read “Flying Circus” before editing and publishing. Ok, I’m going to leave it here, thanks for sharing, thanks for writing, thanks for being brave to show your heart. Love, Jose

@Valkyrie, thanks for setting this up (and with your patience with my lack of expertise). I guess our dear Carlos will be greedily reading while filling the tank of his Harley D wherever he’s rolling right now. Te echamos de menos, @Carlos Hazday!- 15 comments

To many of us, Carlos will always be missed, Carlos and his CJ-verse, Carlos and his talks about travels, and countries… I keep the hope alive, I could send you a short message of how I felt (feel) his sudden loss. Thanks for your kind comments! Jose

A Step Beyond Like a light once so bright, I will vanish in a memory without anger nor regret, without missing nor being missed. From afar, my new home, I will enjoy the happiness once shared and find my way through the turmoil of life in solitude.

Mark, I’ve read and re-read “Bloodlines” so many times I stopped counting, but this chapter and your note… they always pull a special string. Thank you, being from Spain and getting somehow later into my gay side, this chapter hits me with background I lacked and with awe for the way you craft something this beautiful to honor a young man that was robbed of fulfilling his potential. Thanks.

Is this picture an announcement that a Granger chapter is coming? Excellent work as usual, Mark, feel free to keep spoiling us greedy readers. JA

Thanks for the new chapter, @Justin4Fun, if it’s on me, you are allowed to spoil us every 4-6 hours 😊. Boy One is here (seriously, keeping the name secret… you have a LOT to compensate here), I feel like Jake, just chomping at the bit to spoil him rottener than rotten! Keep the good work and let us know some about our Lonesome Ranch boys, please!

@kbois, could you please post the next 107 chapters later today? Pretty please????? Beautiful chapter, thanks for sharing your art with us!

I was going to write something like this, but Gary has done it so beautifully, even the reference to being time to go to bed in Valencia, I just have to join him at it. Thanks a lot, @Mark Arbour, and @Gary L for making my (very late) evening!

Not nice, Mr. Arbour, not nice. A cliffhanger? Seriously? Just hurry up with the next chapter, can’t go too long without reading about the families you create. Thanks for sharing your art!

As usual, a very well told story with perfect characters... Thank yo @kbois! As much as I like the banter here, would you mind posting a new chapter? In 3... 2... 1... 😇

@WolfM, I really don’t know any more how many times I have read this story and this chapter always moves me in ways I cannot explain. Thanks for sharing your creative work and your writing skills!

I was asking myself why your chapters always seem too short, even when they’re not. Thanks for the treat, @Mark Arbour, always a joy reading your work

Mark, thanks for this new chapter, a real treat on a stressful day. I’m expecting some backlash from Lady Brentwood, but I’m quite certain, Lord Brentwood will be up to the challenge!

“He doesn’t really treat me like I’m his son,” Travis said. “Maybe you’re not,” That’s a real bomb of a cliffhanger there, @Mark Arbour, I hope we won’t have to wait long for the resolution… Good writing as usual, thanks for sharing it with us.

The past, your past is back, it arrives, thou, to a different you, who is no longer easily dazzled, who knows how to gaze at the horizon with the eager curiosity of an explorer and the wisdom born from experience. The past, your past is back and you turn it into your present, you season it with what you have lived, you glaze it with knowledge and faith, you live it then just as new, you change it into future past. The past, your past is not back, it still is

When the harrowing sensation sets in that your time no longer belongs to you, the only way out is just resisting indolence and keep on moving.

Thank you so much, @AC Benus!

I wished I were metal to watch without suffering, but I missed my feelings. I wished I were fire to fight and conquer, but I had to yield. I wished I were water to flow without an end, but I missed my hugs. I wished I were earth to shelter without keeping, but I missed the perpetual motion. I wished I were ether to vanish without missing, but my heart got empty. I wished a lot before, now I wish I were metal, water, fire, earth, eth

I just love how you finished this chapter: “as if I were holding a sleeping panther that was dreaming of being a cub again.” Thanks for sharing!

You’re getting awfully good at teasing, @Carlos Hazday! 🥸🤪🤪

I don’t know any more how many times I’ve read this story, but whenever I read it I’m just fascinated by how you can make a sweet moment out of this awakening at JJ having bring molested. Kudos, @Mark Arbour, such nice beautiful mindful writing.

You’re back, @Carlos Hazday! And you brought the CJverse with you, thanks for the treat. Looking forward to watching Jay be put in his place (evil smile)
