My only reservation about DC is the hotel & food prices and traffic. Perhaps somewhere near DC but away from the congested areas >< (Maryland, Delaware, even Pennsylvania?) The prices will be a big factor in whether I go or not.

When my bf and I forst started going out, we fell asleep, naked in my bed, on a school night. It was warm so we weren't covered. I remember being woken up by a knock on the door and opening my eyes to see my mom opening the door. She had this look on her face, basically like O_O She turned around and closed the door. I realized that she had gotten full frontal view of my bf a moment later. That was awkward. When he left, she looked at me and was like "nice". Lmao, I'm lying about the last part I avoided her for a while lol.

I was having a conversation in school the other day. I don't act feminine or anything, and I just transferred to this school so no one there knows I am gay. I don't really give them a reason too either. But one thing I did makes me feel a little guilty. I was talking about having children, and I never mentioned anything about having a boyfriend or anything. I went so far as to say "my (hypothetical) wife" at one point. I realized right on the spot that I was being a total douche but didn't correct myself. I've always told myself that I'd be up front with everyone--that I would just go ahead and say boyfriend, not roommate. I've never said it though. Anytime I'm asked in public if my boyfriend is my brother I look to him to answer, or if someone asks about him when he isn't around I just go with their assumption. I have no idea what comes over me in those situations. I guess I get so desperately afraid that people will look at me differently if they knew. I hate that about myself, but in those situations I just get really anxious, almost to the point of getting panicky.

My first day of the semester is monday. They are saying widespread damage is likely, with power/trees down. I'm wondering if they will have classes.

I was just wondering how many people here are gamers. What games do you play? I am big into MMO's. I have played Lineage 2, Warhammer, World of Warcraft, Age of Conan, Guild Wars, City of Heroes/Villains...others I can't remember... I also love rpgs like Dragon Age, Neverwinter Nights 2, The Elder Scrolls series, etc. Lots of other games too, Left for Dead 1+2, TF2... too many to list. What games are you looking forward to? (This is the main reason of this post) I can't wait for Dead Island!!!! I'm really excited for The Secret World (an mmo coming out April of 2012). Guild Wars 2 looks great. And I absolutely cannot wait for The Elder Scrolls Skyrim! The game I currently play the most is League of Legends, although that'll change when Dead Island comes out on september 6th.

I'm out to people close to me, like family and friends. People who see me walking down the street wouldn't really have reason to call me gay. (I don't really fit stereotypes). If someone came up to me and asked if I was gay I would, first, prolly be speechless. Then I'd almost have a panic attack lol, but if they didn't look threatening I'd say yes. When I'm out with my boyfriend, everyone asks if we are brothers. Depending on the person, we will say yes (we live in a small town, so to townspeople we usually say yes because we live together), sometimes we say no. We never say we are boyfriends unless its to an official, like if I get carded buying something using his debit card. It's also hard because he is in the closet except to very few people. So i guess I'm out of the closet (I say im gay on my facebook, but that isn't open to the public) but I still have my foot in the door.

(It's youtube, so don't get too excited) Tell me what you think of it haha. Part of me is embarrassed that it was made by a bunch of gay guys, and the other part of me wants to be in their next video. The black paint was awesome. You'll know what i mean. Yes, it's actually a song. I was surprised too. I wonder why they don't play it on the radio
