We had reheated ham and bean soup. I made a large pot on Thursday planning for the cold weekend. I split it in half and we had the first bit on Friday. Today I heated the second portion and served it with toasted pumpernickel bread. What we didn't eat was portioned out and went into the freezer. I was glad for my foresight since it was an achy head day.

The pattern in question is tattersall check. A pattern of colored checks and intersecting lines resembling a tartan. Some sources consider it a type of plaid. Myself, I do not. Hence, this lad is yours Clo. 😉 WHAT!?!

I spent a bit of time doing the early spring cleanup in one of mum's flowerbeds, potted up some tulip bulbs and swept the patio. While the temp was only in the mid-50's, ~13°, the sun was warm enough for me to work in a tee shirt.
