The worst of the storms passed by late morning though it remained blustery with 50+ mph wind gusts. It was reported that a couple small planes at a neraby airport were toppled by the winds. It stayed windy all day. Fortunately I was able to cover mum's tender plants as it was only 27/-3° this morning. The cold air seems to have along with the tourists from Canada. Quite a few folks from Ontario are about. Sadly the abrupt change in weather set off a migraine so I am resting quietly. I only stopped by to let y'all know we are okay.

We're currently under a tornado watch until 1pm, as a line of strong/severe storms passes through this morning. It's 70/21° now forecast to be subfreezing by morning. Hopefully once the storms pass I can go outside and cover mum's tender plants to protect them from the freeze. Blessed be y'all.

I was a bit concerned the "event" would occur at/or on the way to the airport in Mexico. But then I thought a bit more and realized it doesn't happen for awhile since it happens after the Oscars. Good to share pizza with Brad though he ate my slice ... I presume we'll actually get to visit with the others since mentioning them but then not expounding on the visits would annoy your devoted minions. Nice flow to the chapter.

Some of you I know thought I was gonna claim he's wearing plaid boxers. Ha, he's not ... but his socks are Royal Stewart tartan.
