  1. Uhmmm, I know, well, I think I know that Jay will in time be okay ... This was, for me, one of the best chapters in the story.

Yeah, somewhere in the Keys I think. If I recall correctly Ritch is about to leave for his summer assignment when he is told about the "event" and is given leave to go be with CJ, Owen and Liebe and meets them somewhere private to decompress.

There are some areas even out intrepid author fears to tread ... I am concerned as to whether it's this interview and it's attention on CJ is what precipitates what comes to pass. Is Northman involved? I don't think intentionally, if at all. That sort of thing would be career ending and Stephen isn't the sort to risk that.

Yeah, maybe he could find an illustrator and get them published. That's a hint, push, shove, whatever. There are young ones out there waiting to read those stories.

I think this was one of your best chapters. Sure it's about CJ but there's more than that. We've known for a long time that when they get to know CJ people genuinely like him, with a few exceptions. This chapter reenforces that. The embassy staff very much like and respect him because he's himself, not some spoiled rich brat, with them. Still trying to determine what the real cause of Stephen's animosity is. Maybe he's deeply closeted, in denial and has dreams and desires that he can't accept.

That is a modern thought, convent had a more broad original meaning. Consider the word convention which shares a common root.
  8. That's the plus for some of us, I wouldn't have my son and dil.
  9. It was. It's warm and muggy here so light meals are nice.
  10. Good choice. We had salad too, mixed greens with pan seared chicken tenders, fresh asparagus, peas and tomatoes. Mum had a few blue cheese stuffed olives on hers. I had crispy onions and croutons.

    He day walks too.
  12. That looks tasty. However, I'm not much fond of jalapenos, they don't much like me either. Please sir, could I have mine without the special sauce and just the chipotle jam?
  13. Get you to bed young man ...
  14. I could, when I next get to Philadelphia. It's in the Fairmont section of the city and no longer used to hold convicts. For $19 you can take a tour. It's said to be haunted. I'm guessing any food lying about would be less than appetizing.
  15. That place isn't far from my home in PA.
