We've had some very good strawberries here lately, shipped north from Florida. I'm hoping the recent cold snap hasn't had an ill effect on the local crop. Strawberries are a major crop in nearby parts of both North and South Carolina.

Thanks, y'all. It has been a rough 10 days. In that time I had one day that wasn't difficult and there was a five day stretch that was horrible. It all seemed to go off the rails about the same time Drew gave me a homework assignment ...

Somehow I can't see Chipper letting even CJ truly abuse one of his employees. Once Peter has settled in a bit I think he and CJ could develope an interesting relationship, trying to one up the other without crossing the line.

With time Peter should realize that CJ does this with people, and that he's willing to be the recipient of applicable retorts. Wonder what CJ's nickname for Stephen is?

We're okay thanks. I've been dealing with some nasty migraines that kept me mostly resting in the dark for several days. The weather has been a bit rough but not as bad as some areas to our west.

Home again, home again ... Temper?!? What temper, I don't got no stinkin' temper ... hurting Yevgeny was a classic CJ response to a threat. Spike likely made that point to Jimmy. Hence his low key admonition. So Jimmy talked to Stephen and now Stephen is playing nice ... wonder if he thinks CJ's position as a visa clerk is a cover for something more. For him it could explain CJ's unusual social access and relationship with the ambassdor, etc. Rank and file playing "whisper down the lane" after comments between marines ... CJ's gonna end up a folk hero among the minions at the embassy.
