    Made a fresh peach and blueberry pie. The weather has made a dramatic turn. Rather than the extreme heat of a few days ago it slightly cooler than normal. Current temp is 78/25° with a forecast high of 80/26° and no appreciable heat index.

    Still gonna be hot just not extremely hot. It's 5am and the heat index is 93/34°. The sun isn't even up. They are forecasting a cool/cold front on Friday that will bring weekend temps down to cooler than normal low 80's.
