No follow-up to this yet. I keep on thinking I will write sequels, but I never do. I found this story to be extremely similar in some aspects to what it was like to grow up as a confused teen. I was sheltered by loving but conservative parents and didn't even know bisexuality was a thing until I was in college. Being in high school, being attracted to cute boys and cute girls was extremely confusing and I was extremely frustrated by myself and my inability to "decide" which I liked. I remember spending an evening thinking about it while reading a book at my Grandma's house, then playing Heart and Soul on her old record player while sobbing. Teenagers are fun. I got things figured out in college and started to date, but it would have been really wonderful to have a Sam when I was younger. Thanks for commenting!

Don't they always? I have next week off from my "strenuous job" to recover from eye surgery. I don't usually do well with forced idleness, so we'll see how that goes.

I feel the reasons don't matter as much as the absolutely shitty way that Patrick went about things, especially since Oliver was willing (reluctantly) to give him the time he needed. It's a classic!

I first saw this word on a placard in a hotel room, of all places. I copied it down and made sure to use it in a story.

I'll be right there beside you if my morning was any indication. My coworker is out so I'm stuck with 18 patients. Already had the late patient, the one who didn't dress appropriately and one who argued with me about his exercises.

Between the weather, my sewer getting clogged and my car refusing to start, I'm just having a bad week here. Hope everyone is doing much better than me right now. 🤪

To be honest, I wasn't sure about this one at first. I felt that the first chapter had a lot of melodrama, but I stuck with it and I'm so glad I did. This story was so freaking good. Incredible world building, great intrigue and drama, pacing on point. Even minor characters were well developed and Natham is sexy as hell. I normally don't like shifter stories, but this one was a great read, highly recommend it.

Luckily their birthdays are just 10 days apart so we throw joint parties. We do the same with myself and my Grandma since hers is the day after mine.

We did a party for their 60th, but it was at their house, so they had to clean it up and stuff, so I'm wanting a venue for this one. It has to be perfect. The next big birthday is 80 and I dont know if they'll feel like partying at that age, lol.
