    Okay. I hate to be this person, but I've had it with the cold. I'm tired of walking out in the morning to temperatures in the teens and low 20s. I'm tired of the sleet, ice and frost. Of the sharp edges and cold corners. I don't understand how northerners live like this.

    I hope everyone had a good weekend. I help my parents host lunch for Thanksgiving, I think we had 25 family members over. Busy but fun!

    Too much potassium in your diet can cause cardiac issues. I had to be tested for that in the past.

    @Thirdly has good advice about distraction. I will portion out my food and watch something on TV or YouTube so I'm not concentrating on the act of eating.

    I got a second degree burn on the back of my hand while cooking. By the time I got to the store to get burn medicine I was in agony. They're the worst.

    We've had one frost a few weeks ago that killed most of my plants. But since then it's been wildly swinging between cold and hot.

    My mom invited me to write while I was in the kitchen one day. I tried to take her up on this offer and then she talked to me for the next 30 minutes until I just gave up.

    Back from a trip to see my nephew. Took him treat or treating and then helped set up a pool party for his fourth birthday. I'm pooped.
